Thank you for this video! Well explained. My 773 died today. Thankfully I found this video. I’m still down until Monday when Bobcat opens but I did get the elbow out. Saved me a lot of time. Thanks again!

What are the odds!!! I was viewing YT videos about an electrical issue that I had on my 773 and while doing so, came across this video. Was interesting and well explained. Thought it might be good to put the fuel issue in my memory bank. Well, less than 24 hours later, my machine just quit me and I knew exactly what to look for. Thanks for trouble shooting my machine in advance. You have a new subscriber.

Geat job sir. Thanks for taking the time to do this. On my 863g previous owner took piece of copper tubing and hammered it through the top of the tank. Real "smart" person. Had to pull the Duetz motor for other reasons so was able to easily replace fuel pickup tube after pulling old one out. Pulled copper tube out made hole big enough to add another pickup tube assembly so at least the hole was made useable instead of just plugging it.

Man a lot of others either put bs music or do a time lapse, man explained it all clear. No BS side talk. My 753 died it has a fuel timer solenoid short, and it died like it ran out of gas, and same thing no fuel on the hand pump, I will try this am sure it is the same thing it has exactly the same symptoms

Put line to the inlet of the primer bulb and the other end in a fuel jug pump it up and bleed it. start it up and raise the lift arms place safety stop in. and then you will have more room to replace the pickup tube!🧐

This is a very common problem. In the early stages of failure you have loss of power or miss firing. I think the low sulfer diesel they sell now is the problem. Thanks for commenting.

nice video and explanation...does that pick up tube filter end just simply end up laying on the bottom of the fuel tank?

I am sorry I do not know 100% on the filter. I am assuming it does lay on the bottom of the tank. The local dealer here uses the parts lookup to cut me the correct length of hose for me. It comes on a roll and is cut to length based on factory recommended length. The only reason to keep it off the bottom of the tank is if you have anything in tank that could clog the filter. Thanks
