Alot of people don't know this but when we as young bass singers look up to those guys like avi tim and geoff.. their type of singing helps use to get better even better than them with much practice 👍🏼 and so we young men are able to go lower because we are so desperate to sing like them we dont even realize the benefits 🖤

That is absolutely true ^^ but I am still extremely amazed by geoffs improvement over the last few years not only in terms of subharmonics but also his chest voice I believe he extended it quite a good amount and the tone got really great. I am interested where he can go if he continues like that :D

@@FortexVize Yeah, Geoff is truly something else. Aside from his talent, he's always striving to improve and does a lot of research (that's how he discovered subharmonic singing). In the last five years he's considerably strengthened his chest register around A#1-F#1. Below B1, he's, in my opinion the bass singer with the best tone and versatility in his chest range. He can sing those notes breathy, gritty, sustained, staccato,... A close second, with much more long-term potential is Jojo Otseidu. When this young guy's voice is done maturing, his chest voice will be like Geoff's, only translated two or even three semitones lower

I just showed .y boyfriend the siren and death video and he didn't believe it was real. All of this as a whole is my proof to him and I can't wait to show him and see his eyes blow up. He's a musician and he's about to be BLOWN AWAY

@@TM-pf1kp Aaah, okay, cuz I was thinking and all that "Well.. theoretically, if he did the 4:3 wouldn't he be able to hit an A0 with his vocal range", which I still think is pretty possible because it sounds like he can hit an E2 with relative ease, but I feel with subharmonics it's a kind of.. 'touchy' vocal technique as I've been having difficulty trying to do it.

Subharmonic is too complicated for me, i can do it but honestly i prefer to just do it in Strohbass because it is much easier in my opinion

He could improve high high notes. Most basses can have a powerful F with training.

I wouldn't say that *most* basses have a high F. The high F is like really-really high even for a high bass, and Bobby is an average / below average bass. I would expect him to have a workable D4, maybe an E4

@MultiKamil97 you are saying that Bobby is not a bass?! Well, maybe you are overestimating basses then) He is a high bass. His voice is indeed pretty light compared to many other basses, but when he wants, he can project a really good quality, loud D2/C2 off mike. There is a shord video of him singing a loud AF C2 in a church or something (no microphone). That C2 would be more than enough to be heard in opera. Also, while his highs can sound comparatively lighter than other bases, we actually haven't really heard him going all out on his high chest notes. From the top of my mind, I can't remember him going above C4, which is not too high even for a bass. Also, his tone of voice can get REALLY bassy when he wants to, like in the video from the bathtub halo theme, just for an example. So yeah, Bobby is a bass. His tessitura (workable range) is either the same or even a bit deeper compared to, let's say, Avi Kaplan. He is just really good at making that beast of a voice sound light and tender when he wants to. P.S. Sorry for the unnecessarily long response)
