Yeah, but the original radio play by play was Russ Hodges, and he was GOOD. -Have a 78 RPM of the last 3 minutes.

Didja' know that the top of the ninth of this game is playing in The Godfather film, on Sonny Corleone's car radio (Russ Hodges, announcing), when Sonny is "hit" at the causeway tollbooths. Hence, Sonny Corleone NEVER got to hear Bobby Thompson's "Shot Heard 'Round The World". Damn; life can sure throw you some curves...
