There are no excuses for crossing this line, in brotherhood. I pray Bobby owned up to this mess up and humbly apologized to his niece, his brother, and the entire extended family. That's hurtful and sick, but I do believe in forgiveness, redemption, and reconciliation, but never forget. So, I pray for complete healing for these brothers! I love all of them, but right is right and wrong is wrong and if this happened, Bobby was/is wrong and needs to own it and fix it.

I think the nephew may be lying. Especially since Ralph and Bobby have not spoken on whatever the issue. Why are people so quick to believe that? It is interesting how people are so quick to believe anything they hear negatively about people not just Bobby Brown but other people, too. At least check the ages Ralph's daughters are 30 and 27 years old now. In 2013 they were 20 and 17 years old. He had remarried and had young children and was in the process of moving on from that past life. Their tour is going well.

With Bobby’s alcohol and drug addiction, I could see if this story is true….. When people are drunk or high, they don’t remember anything. I’m a diehard ne fan and grew up on their music. Always felt that Ralph got the short end of the stick. I think people mistake kindness for weakness. I saw for the first time where Mike yielded his position as the primary speaker of the group to Ralph in a recent radio interview. It's as to say, 'you are still our leader.' It was a nice gesture and Ralph deserves it. I enjoyed Bobby's hit album and tour. Saw him twice -- but the dude gets a lot of credit for one album and a short period. To each his own, yet never understood the hype off of one album (1.5 - I will give him the Girlfriend single and some of Bobby).

Sorry Bro, but “Don’t Be Cruel” is hands down one of the best R&B albums of its time. The only reason Bobby went down after that album (other than drugs) is because he married the biggest R&B artist at that time which was Whitney Houston. If he would have kept his nose clean and stayed single a little bit longer, Bobby would have been huge…

I'm from DC. But, since the beginning, Ralph was that dude. As the story goes, his loyalty made the group and each founding member household names because he could have been a solo act. Bobby resonated, because of his antics, being dubbed the Bad Boy of r&b with Babyface's pop hits, but he was the egotistical showstopper. The drama has always existed in groups and within New Edition. If the allegations are true, it's for Ralph and Bobby to resolve. Not public opinion or even as fans

I find this believable. Bobby hasn’t shown to be a man of integrity.

His own nephew confirmed it. It was the REAL reason NE didn't capitalize off of the fame of the NE movie. Keep in mind that BBD KNEW what happened and lwt fans believe Ralph and Johnny and some trademark were the REAL reason until Charlamagne asked them directly on The Breakfast club and they admitted the trademark was nOt the reason. Ralph did admit that he did the background vocals on Every Little Step. I think it’s the part where he sings, “Every little step…”

On the "A Closer Look" docuseries, Ralph stated (paraphrasing) that he was upset because, right after the movie and the star on the Hollywood WoF, he thought that they should capitalize on immediately doing an NE album and tour; however, BBD had already recorded the 3 Stripes album and had planned some other things surrounding the album. Ralph stated that he wasn't happy about that as it was a huge opportunity lost. Ralph also said that at times there is an internal clique between Mike and Ron, and in the past Ricky had always been cool and close to Ralph; but at a point Ricky started to join the BBD clique, which caused a bit of tension between Ralph and Ricky. Ricky also participated in the docuseries, but none of the others did, except (if I recall correctly) Johnny. Ralph also already stated that he did NOT sing on "Every Little Step". That doesn't even sound like Ralph.

INCORRECT, Ralph is only singing on the background vocals, THAT IS BOBBY ON LEAD VOCALS. As for the difference in how they sound, it's just as simple as him singing on a lower note, in a deeper register in that part of the 2nd verse you referenced, but he starts the 2nd verse out on the same exact note as on the 1st verse. It may not be so easy for non-singers to understand, but there's a very simple reason for that tonal difference heard in that small portion of the 2nd verse. Further, there's an interview where Ralph himself clarifies that he is NOT singing the lead on this song of Bobby's.

That's how a lot of men do. It has happened to me several times young and old where someone thought they had all the sense. I also have two daughters of my own who are absolutely gorgeous and I don't play about them and they're grown. I dated a man who I knew for certain that had his eye on my oldest daughter and noticed he would watch younger girls. You have to watch any and everybody any man that likes young girls that are old enough to be their child is nasty even worst back then.

It took me a long time to stop being upset with Bobby over how he treated Whitney I was so angry with him. I thought he learned to be a better person after all the loss he’s suffered

Fun fact. Bobby stole Ralph's style when he went solo, his dance moves his style of music literally everything. Ralph's loyalty to the group New Edition that year is why Bobby was that successful in the late 80s and not Ralph. If he would have waited to do another New Edition album and focused on his solo album he would have been the chosen one as far as New Jack Swing

Now that the cats out of the bag. I heard he slept with her & she confess to it. Close friends be talking but everybody was quiet about it and now the nephew is running it up but doesn’t even have all of the facts 🤦🏽‍♀️

Rizz and JG seem to be the most Loyal in the group so I can't see them maliciously trademarking the name so the others couldn't use the likes of NE....Maybe it was them trying to protect NE!! Their name/logo etc. was out there for anyone to grab which made the group vulnerable. Hell, any one of us could've trademarked the name and never once stood on stage with the guys, so it was very smart for them to do so. If you think about it, when it was trademarked.... Ralph and Johnny NEVER went on stage using the likes of NE for financial gain even though they could've... after all, those two voices are the voices of NE so just those two easily couldve pulled off anything N.E. But it make sense to see all 5-6 on stage. Anyway, Ralph is a stand up guy cause I would've been going upside Bobs head everytime he was in my presence. That's a sad situation cause Rizz and Bobby was close. What ones try to hide always come to the light. Now his fans can finally stop blaming Rizz for the BS and if you're a parent, put themselves in Ralph shoes.. what would you do?? SMH

I think everyone forgets they were kids when they started. They grew from boys to men in the spotlight. Bobby probably doesn't remember half the stuff he did in an intoxicated mind all the time. But it doesn't excuse the behavior. People love telling someone's story. This wasn't his story to tell. Now, all 3 of them, Bobby, Ralph, and his daughter have to deal with this again and publicly. Celebrities are still human. They deserve some privacy in their lives, especially when it's very heartbreaking.

Keep in mind Ralph's daughters are now 30 and 27. Bobbie Kristina would have been 30 on March 4th this year.

Just came across your channel after 2 videos definitely subbing 😊 I agree with you about them not airing their dirty laundry. I just watched a video yesterday about who's vocals are on Every Little Step and it's true that both of them are singing on it. According to the video it was supposed to be an NE song but ended up going to Bobby. He was at the studio because he and Bobby were meeting and Bobby was late and they kept Ralph's original vocals on the track in the background. Ralph said he wasn't confirming or denying anything and I respect the way he handled it.

Sounds like Bobby. I don't hear Ralph. I have been listening to New Edition since day one. I knew it was Bobby singing jealous girl when the entire universe thought it was Ralph.

So I guess the nephew needed some attention. Or maybe the nephew needs Bobby's money and Bobby said no way. Otherwise, why did he feel the need to share things that do not apply to him? Those guys are like brothers and no matter what happens they are always able to work through it and come back together.

There are 2 versions of that song every little step. Album Version and single was a remix. Notice the 2cnd verse is a repeat of the 1st verse on the remix. Every Little step eas originally for NE, they even started recording it (according to the group interview).. they said it’s possible some of their vocals were left on there but not that they are aware of.

in regards to every little step, if you listen to the end of the song that is definitely Ralph on the background vocals… probably what it meant by finishing up the song

If this is true about Bobby, then that means he still has the same issues he had in the 80’s, the problem is you can’t change nobody, period !!!! When you moved pass Bobby, you should’ve kept it moving because NE became a greater group with out him in it
