I worked in a music store where he did a clinic back in the 90's. Not only did he kick ass, but he brought a band with him. I remember them doing YYZ by Rush The bass player last name was fox. He was a black dude that was just smokin. He was playing Peave. As a drummer I wasn't thinking much before his performances but after... I was beyond impressed!! Plus talked a lot about the business and how to handle yourself being in a band. He emphasized it wasn't just about playing drums to be successful as a drummer. Loved that!!!

Bobby Rock is a class act. I took a master class workshop with him in Dallas, Tx and got to hang out with him for a while after it was over. We took a few photos together. He was way cool and a gentlemen.

Bobby is a grossly underrated drummer and a good person. It's a shame this wasn't a longer session.

Bobby is a really articulate, intelligent dude. Great storyteller. Gonna download his book on Kindle in a few minutes. I was never a Megadeth fan, but enjoyed Dave Mustaine's book because he (even though he had help from writer Joe Layden) is a high-IQ guy and a good storyteller.

I took drum lessons from a Great Drummer named Craig LeMay, who Boby Rock beat in a contest a "Drum Off" / " Drum Off Battle" in which Bob WON First Place and Craig was runner-up. Craig plays now in 2018 with a Van Halen cover band out of Houston and is still playing, and Bobby was the Local Boy who made it Big (Big for a Drummer from Houston, TX).

That wig is why when I started losing my hair I started shaving my head bald , it just makes more sense , throw a hat on your head or a bandana lol

One of the best drummers around and is a class act.

Great interview. But the interview's hairpiece is just too much. Normally, I would feel bad for talking bad about someone else's plight...but that thing is absolutely ridiculous. Fat-shaming works....and in this case, rug shaming is called for.

So awesome that Bobby isn't all grossly tattooed up. He doesn't need that ignorant shit to get attention and "express his individuality".

Bobby is, and always a bad man. I read the piece about his experience re recording the first VVI album. There are no words to describe how insane it was. It was Dewey Cox, and "10,000 f*colin didgeridoo's" crazy.

My hair is half gone, but jeez, that hair piece is ridiculous. I'm all for people altering their appearance to feel less self conscious, but this just makes it worse.
