Worth bearing in mind that Bobby is now officially suffering from dementia and hearing loss, the symptons of both must have started years back, that must have been very scary for poor Bobby and I think he tried to hide it for years with bravado. He has sang on some all-time classics but we all get old even those who like being on stage, it must be hard to quit the stage when that's all you know how to do and all you want to do. Get well Bobby

He's living the life of a musician. If you got a problem with his vocals then you should leave this video and not come back.

The best thing about this video is the Korg Kronos and the dude whos playing it.

Bobby appears to be able to vocally hit the notes, but having trouble maintaining the melody. Not sure if that's something he can remedy.

I love Bobby did so many amazing vocals over the years I would put money on it that he is suffering from a problem related to tinnitus. There's definitely some sort of a hearing problem. He has a tendency to go sharp not flat. Just my opinion

Youre right there, I was wondering if anyone else would notice. He still has a good range, but if he was struggling he would be hitting more flat notes. He's good on some melodies then his pitch goes up alot, which is because of hearing loss, it must have got worse over the last few years. Seems to struggle more in loud live enviroments, obviously with loud PA, however when you watch him in some interviews where hes singin with piano or quieter rooms he seems fine, still got a damn good voice. Theres a vid on here somewhere in an interview an he does a crackin version of Rosanna, take a listen at 1:01:40 - kzread.info/dash/bejne/gX9306uAftuodps.html has a lot of positive comments on this vid about his voice, tho you can tell his hearing is down, as in interviews, some people say he misses some questions or speaks slowly at times. And he seemed good in 2013 when he was doin a Retro festival - kzread.info/dash/bejne/dJOolNp-f7bIZpc.html, which had some other 80s stars performing at. Unfortunately more comment on the vids of his off days than the good vids, btu theres a few of us who can still give him some support

@@ryanaj69 I agree with you buddy I wish people wouldn't be so harsh on these guys. There's part of me that knows that some of these singers are reading these comments and probably feeling terrible. I've been a musician most of my life and I played professionally for over 20 years and I would still give anything to be on stage performing with Bobby even on his worst day. 😀

OMG Bobby is a train wreck! What is he doing? I understand the keyboard player is not a native English speaker, but he brutalizes the lyrics, they are flat out wrong in the first verse. Bobby's voice is shot so he just screams. It's really sad. And no one 70 years old has hair that jet black.

He drinks to forget.

So in 2015 he sang all parts of the song and couple years later he only sang the reff part of the song. No improvements have been made apparently.
