Bobby Fischer wins with the Fischer-Sozin Attack in 17 moves

Bobby Fischer produced a chess miniature against Peter Dely in 1967. In reply to black's Sicilian Classical variation, Fischer employed the Fischer-Sozin Attack. This game's key element is time. Black wastes it, and Fischer quickly pounces, executing the main idea of the Fischer-Sozin Attack and forcing black's resignation after only 17 moves.

I said it once and I'll say it again; this is by far the best chess channel on You Tube. Unlike all the others this one isn't based on selling us memberships anywhere or advertising their GM's or the players they have and so on. Quick introduction, not 30 seconds or a minute of bs. Just goes straight to business, this is just pure chess. I love it that you always go through the most important variations at just the right moment in the game plus you always explain why someone resigned by demonstrating the options they had. I would subscribe 10x over if I could. Thanks Mr. Jerry from Pennsylvania for all the work you do. Fantastic stuff.

Best chess GM re-play video I have ever seen. No intervention during the game, (just explaining the moves that the GM's made, not the channels distracting variations. Very very important to me.), and playing out the possibilities after a resignation. By far, the best way to show a game of history. I nominate you personally, this guy and this vid, for the YT Pulitzer prize of, "Just show the damn game!", award. :) With the others, it is like working on a tough engineering case, with your kids bugging you.

That's the enduring quality of Fischer that allowed the game to become a high stakes sport & accessible to the mainstream as well as allowing him to chalk up so many victories... the BEST DEFENSE is an attacking position... it makes for exciting chess & demands creativity & thinking out of the box... Fischer challenged himself more than his opponents & that drive is at the heart of what made him who he was
