Bobby Fischer wins with the Fischer-Sozin Attack in 17 moves
Bobby Fischer produced a chess miniature against Peter Dely in 1967. In reply to black's Sicilian Classical variation, Fischer employed the Fischer-Sozin Attack. This game's key element is time. Black wastes it, and Fischer quickly pounces, executing the main idea of the Fischer-Sozin Attack and forcing black's resignation after only 17 moves.

I said it once and I'll say it again; this is by far the best chess channel on You Tube. Unlike all the others this one isn't based on selling us memberships anywhere or advertising their GM's or the players they have and so on. Quick introduction, not 30 seconds or a minute of bs. Just goes straight to business, this is just pure chess. I love it that you always go through the most important variations at just the right moment in the game plus you always explain why someone resigned by demonstrating the options they had. I would subscribe 10x over if I could. Thanks Mr. Jerry from Pennsylvania for all the work you do. Fantastic stuff.

Yes this is indeed the best chess channel and I have said it before his voice is just perfect the way he talks and explains are just perfect so clear cut. I hope this channel never gets closed and hits couple of million subscribers as well.
How anyone sees all the possibilities and finds the best move is amazing.

Sozin must have been a great player for knowing what would happen
This Fischer guy surely had talent. He could have become a world class player. :-)

Woah is that a joke I see flying over two unsuspecting heads?
It's actually to Peter Dely's credit that he fully understood and comprehended how screwed he was at the 17th turn. I would not have been able to see half of that.
Dude I have watched 3 of your videos.. I know literally nothing about chess and the way you explain it.. makes so much sense. This is very cool. Great vids.

Sorry I wasn't being very clear. As a fellow mostly-novice the video was ok but it brushed past stuff like that without explanation, which left me feeling like he was talking a bit over my head.

Jerry's voice is so soothing. I needed a calming influence right now during this coronavirus hysteria. Thanks Jerry, you're a chill dude.
I’ve seen quite a lot of such vids. I like how you don’t over-explain or come across as if you’re enamored by the sound of your own voice. Well done!
Anothevery instructive and amazing video, Jerry! You're contribution for the chess community is huge! THANKS A LOT
Very good strategic analysis as always. Thanks - your postings above all others lead to deeper understanding of how the game can better be played.
Loving this shorter analisys format! Great work Jerry.
Another brilliant chess game! It's very clear that Bobby had control the moment he sat down at the board.
Clear and concise explanations, watch and learn! Thank you
Love your vids, Jerry! It's awesome being able to finally guess the winning player's moves and get them right! I feel like I've learned a lot from this channel and I hope to continue to!
Love these videos of classic/brilliant chess games - they help me so much.
Once again, Jerry, your analysis, content and pace are perfect for me. Much appreciated. Kudos!
Congratulations-there are many chess sites but yours is my favourite:soft voice and slow explanations.Keep it up!
It is amazing. To be able to think so many moves ahead, i still have so much to learn about this game.
Thank you for this clear, classic, and detailed analysis.

A thing of beauty. The analysis of the possible moves subsequent to the surrender are very helpful. Thanks.
Love the way you explaine. A big help to all of us intermediate players who want to look at examples on how to analize games.
Best chess GM re-play video I have ever seen. No intervention during the game, (just explaining the moves that the GM's made, not the channels distracting variations. Very very important to me.), and playing out the possibilities after a resignation. By far, the best way to show a game of history. I nominate you personally, this guy and this vid, for the YT Pulitzer prize of, "Just show the damn game!", award. :) With the others, it is like working on a tough engineering case, with your kids bugging you.
Thank you for the lucid easy to understand analysis of your games .... Good job

Excellent video
That's the enduring quality of Fischer that allowed the game to become a high stakes sport & accessible to the mainstream as well as allowing him to chalk up so many victories... the BEST DEFENSE is an attacking position... it makes for exciting chess & demands creativity & thinking out of the box... Fischer challenged himself more than his opponents & that drive is at the heart of what made him who he was
Feeding the KZread algorithm. Great video.

Love these games Jerry! Can we have more analysis games of famous matches and PC vs PC games?
1st/ i do not know how to play chess. my wife attempted to teach me but i got a headache. she showed me your commentary on this video & i kind of got it [sans headache] & enjoyed it as well. she is now trying a chess for dummies in coordination with your videos. (our marriage for the last 32 years has been based on her being smarter about most things) so here we go...............
I'm just starting to play the game and it fascinates me how many of the moves you analyze I never see coming...a very intricate game...and obviously that's why it is so fun to play....thanks again.
Thanks, good work! Much appreciated!
