Bobby Darin was the best entertainer ever, a generous human being. Multi talented singer, song writer, wrote movie scores, played several instruments darn well, acted, had great timing and was a funny guy. Watch his comedy sketches they are brilliant. The day Bobby Darin passed from this life we lost a GENTLE GIANT. We will never see the likes of this wonderful man ever again….SAD FACT. Remember this is 'LIVE' not lip-synched, every performance had to be the very best and it was. RIP BD!

Performers in those days were classy. They didn't need to use profanity or vulgar acts to entertain the audience.

Please read their son's book "Dream Lovers", Dodd explains everything and it's a very good book. They both had their share. Mainly it was difficult to find the right way between showbusiness (two famous people!) and private life with a little son. The other answer you got is complete nonsense.

Read some books before you write such nonsense. Bobby never drank. He had such a bad heart that he couldn't drink. Physical abuse is even more ridiculous.

Due to Bobby's drinking and physical abuse of Sandra. That was too bad because he was quite the entertainer himself.

newhorizons72 Bobby smoked but he did not drink alcohol whatsoever. There was a form of abuse in Sandy's early life but, it certainly was not Bobby who abused her. Bobby Darin was a phenomenal talent, and deserves much more recognition then he gets.
