I was born in 1990. I recently listened to that album and did not realized SO many hits were on one album haha!!
No cellphones. What a beautiful thing. People just enjoying the concert.

The entire _Don't Be Cruel_ album/era is forever unmatched. Took the album and its singles to the mainstream and everyone got on board with the new jack swing soon after. Bobby B. was nothing to play with back then.

@@wes9802 it was hottest tour among r&b artist . Prince and Michael had the largest fan base of course. But the heart break. With alb sure, he was blowing up as a new artist. Just flaming hot.. bobby brown caught fire at the time. And then you had new Edition who every one was curious about with their new member Johnny Gill . That was the hottest ticket in black America
People said he cares about himself but he’s giving the stage to the Dancers this man cared about others
2:45 It's so sweet how he took the time to acknowledge that little girl in the audience and make her feel special 🥰.
I saw him in Wembley that year 1989, I was 13years old & he tore up that stage, his energy was everything.

This tour was nuts! A lot of big name stars were at his show. It got the attention of James Brown who was in jail at the time. James was like I gotta meet this kid...1988-1990

I was just 4 years old in 1989 as a kid when Bobby Brown was that dude who can reign supreme with Don't Be Cruel (his 2nd album) before he married Whitney Houston. He was the true OG Bad Boy of R&B. King Of Stage!! The Brown Bomber!!! R&B's Bad Boy!!!!

Actually they was...he got caught up covering for her...pushing his career in the back at this time it was about bobby ...if he wasnt with whitney he would have focused on his career he was on top at that time ...bobby is a great guy then and now..media tarnished him to protect whitney image ...whitney was a hood girl everybody knows that that image was not her ...thats entertainment....they took people he loved away trying to destroy him ...pat was down with that n her brother side 👀 ing mom

i can not believe of after about 3 years of listening/looking to/at this same performance on youtube with crappy audio that's only on one side and terrible quality- YOU COME THROUGH WITH THE BEST VERSION. you are amazing with the black people content. especially the michael jackson, bernie macs, bobby browns, etc.
