Far down the road. Ha. 2 months later they're living together and 7 months after that they're engaged. Congrats Bobby!
My husband was 39 when we married. I was 28. (30 years ago)His and my only marriage. We were also long distance. Not so far as California. We learned to communicate outside of any physical anything. Not even eye contact. Cause no FaceTime. We were both old enough to know ourselves. We had both been through counseling before we knew each other. Then together. Before engagement. We married 9 months after we met because why wait? Love is a choice. Every day. Marriage is a commitment. Every day. Sometimes you don’t feel it. You just keep on. You keep trying to figure out how to communicate about what you want and need and listen to what they want and need. We are each other’s best friend but it takes effort because anything worth having is worth any effort.
After the beginning of this week it is just so nice to hear some happy news. Congrats!
It’s crazy to look back at this video and see how the long distance and the moving in together is “far down the road” but covid hit and she decided to move to Nashville seemingly immediately. AND NOW THEY ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!! Happy for the man that’s for sure.
It's impressive alone that Bobby is self aware (willing to be self aware) enough and being open enough to therapy and working on that. Mad props for that alone! I think anyone who has trust issues with their family members will have them in relationships, some just maybe more severe than others, but I personally completely understand that. Thus am 42 and in the same boat. I say I just haven't been in a rush ha! Happy for you Bobby!! You deserve that love and happiness!

Blue Star Mom well that’s a great way to prevent it, but sometimes life happens. Personally speaking I take mine off when I’m doing dishes so it doesn’t slip off and go down the drain or get damaged. I’m not going to overanalyze and spectate on Amys life all because she was or wasn’t wearing her ring on the show one day.
