Whats the point of this video there's no info on how to correct . Holding the end thread down like that won't resolve the problem

The driver rotation is off. It needs to be rotated clockwise so it can release the thread toward the left. Once the hook catches the top loop, the loop must travel over the entire bobbin. In the video the loop doesn't make it past the 6:00 position.

Follow step by step procedure given in video link. i was also too frustrated by this problem but it is solved now. Check needle height as shown in video. if it is correct then go for shaft adjustment. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dJOOq7SJZ7nYgcY.html

Shuttle need to be adjusted in time with the needle . Timing is off and need adjustment.

I had the same problem, just realised I had to thread it again as it had come out along the way

Ah yes, I did this when I loaded my first bobbin. You're supposed to put the bobbin's thread on the right of that metal bar. I started freaking out when I didn't know why my machine wasn't working 😂

This comment is a bit old now, but I am hoping you will see it. Do you mean we should put the thread of the bobbin in the right side of the bobine case? There is a nook on the bobbin -should it go there? I saw in other videos that the bobbin needs to be loaded counterclockwise....do you recommend this?

@@anam.aria. Every machine and maker of machine has different ways to load the bobbin. I own a Singer Classic Heavy Duty, I load it counterclockwise into the encasement and then thread it down and then to the left and up. Rotate the needle through a revolution and out comes the thread. Follow your machine's instructions.

It's three years later but thank you it worked 😃

it helped me notice a part was missing. lol. its the lil things.

Driver rotation is off. The hook is grabbing the top thread loop but it isn't traveling far enough past bottom dead center to release the loop so it can go all the way around the bobbin (toward the left side). Driver needs to be adjusted clockwise. Sailrite has a good driver adjustment video. You will have to adjust the needle height again after.

I’m having the same problem 😣

dk if someone was having the same problem as I was but I just rethreaded the needle and that was it! Somehow the line got out of the tension mechanism so it was just going straight to the needle, that’s why it didn’t go all around the bobbin

So how do you fix it?

Well 1st the bobbin goes into the bobbin case hole,also if the up and down isnt correct the timing wont be correct.

hook not turning enough. Hook must give threat again but not turning enough. You must open the case and set hook timing.

I have redheaded over and over. Changed my needle changed bobbin and can not get thread to pull up correctly. Sometimes it comes up and twists my top thread I have to break it loose and start all over

Adjust the needle and the hook on top of the bobbin case

The bobbin thread won’t be pulled up if you’re holding it down. You need to hold the TOP thread

It’s a timing issue. You need to loosen the allen bold holding the needle shaft and adjust it then tighten it back.

I❤m beginning to suspecta that this mechanism is not a terrestrial invention.

I've rethread mine over and over. It goes down to about 6 o'clock and doesn't loop all the away around to grab the other string.

Fixing this is simple Just change the mode if ther is any fancy type stitching then the bobin will not come out try changing the mod to normal typ stitching
