All the games, books, and shows that spawned off of the prequels alone made up for how poor the movies themselves were. Prequels sucked but they in no way "ruined Star Wars".

I’m just gonna say it despite how old the comment is. It’s about legacy. Boba has no legacy. He “died” at the battle of jabbas barge and was forgotten, the most dangerous bounty hunter in the galaxy and he made no even a footnote in history and he got replaced quickly too. He is obviously too old to have kids or settle down if he even wanted too and again he was forgotten so he can’t go back into Bounty hunting since he’s probably considered an imperial war criminal. Jango has a legacy, hell even Jangos mentor and father figure has a legacy but boba does not. Mos Espa is his new legacy ruling not as a tyrant but as a kind and loved leader

So Boba was kinda on a quest to find that new family, which he did in governing that town. I think it's a missed opportunity not having Boba fight to reclaim Mandolore, could have provided some muscles

@@jacobrobison748 it makes sense though for these two, Cad Bane knew his father, and he also mentored a young Boba Fett for a short time, teaching the young mandalorian the ways of bounty hunting before they fell out. Ironically neither of them actually knew who was faster, as the last time they met, Boba had matched his draw and they both left with scars from the duel. Boba the dent in his helmet, Cad the scar on his forehead. So far as I know, Boba Fett was the only person to ever match Cad Bane in a duel. Hence the “I have armour” response, it’s entirely possible Bane is still the faster gunslinger, but the last time they fought it didn’t matter, because Fett had beskar and Bane didn’t, and this time it was highly unlikely Boba would be knocked out by a single shot, as he’s much older now and has taken many(many) more blows since he was a teenager. Plus it was probably a dig at Bane having lost to a child the last time they met 😂

My angle is "Boba Fett died in episode VI when he fell into the sarlac put, and nobody will ever convince me otherwise." This story is taking place in an entirely separate fictional universe from that in which Star Wars is set, as far as I'm concerned. This is the Disney Wars universe, where all of the sacrifices of the heroes from the original trilogy are in vain and no characters can actually stay dead. Disney Wars has more in common with soap opera-style narratives like the stuff Marvel and DC pump out. Star Wars has an actual beginning and end, as far as I'm concerned.

Our main sacred universe will be fine, events such as the Battlefront 2 campaign up until the final Battle of Jakku vs the Empire, then Mando, and even Book, and now as of late, Ahsoka, are the latest canonical events post-ROTJ. Beyond those events, the future remains uncertain again, and it will not go down a heinous path again. As for your Book copium, yeah you're just wrong. Deal with it. It ain't even that bad. Boba was getting paid by jaba and while fighting luke he almost died in sarlac pit so he thought "being a bad guy and installing fear in others almost got me killed so maybe respect will do me better" Also the entirety of star wars franchise, tatooine was always a planet full of thugs and a tyrant ruling it, but boba just turned it into safe place. Characters like boba don't need force to make big changes

It's because of the gods that kratos lost his brother at a young age, lost his wife and daughter, lost his his friend orkos, lost his daughter a second time in elysium, lost his brother a second time, lost his mother and after all that only thing he had left to do was helping sparta as a god of war and what did the gods do? Took his powers, killed kratos, wiped out the spartans that were raiding the city and as if thag wasn't enough, zeus pulled up on sparta and destroyed everything there. Kratos lost everything he held dear and he just said "alright that enough, olympus is going down"

Boba is old and his near death experience changed him. He’s tired of Bounty Hunting for other bosses and wants to be the boss of his own mob. I’m not sure why people are so upset about that. Maybe they wanted the adventures of younger Boba. The cast of characters on his team, some of the creative choices with the show’s episodes, and the dialogue didn’t make a lot of sense, but I think his “angle” was clear.

They basically tried to humanize the sand people in the show, made him become a part of him, and all he's done is been a soft, nice guy while still for whatever reason still murdered someone to become head of crime ring to just... do nothing. If he was done with bounty hunting, he could just not do it anymore. Why even take over a crime organization instead of just taking it out if you wanted to be the hero? It's all inconsistent. What people wanted is what they saw in The Mandalorian. It's really not that complicated. Badass silent type doing badasd silent things. With how he was presented in that show, people expected more off it; especially because of the post credit scene

Because boba realized he couldn't handle it. It took everything they had and then some and still barely took out the pykes. The next threat might be far worse and boba feels he can do better doing something else. However I don't at all remember him saying that. Regardless, he still protected his people in the end

This is the one thing that truly soured me to this entire series. Bane is epic. He’s an epic villain. He’s the caliber of villain that an entire series could be based on. And this is how they do him.

I also never understood why more people didn't use slug weapons, especially bounty hunters. You would think a shotgun or similar would be quite effective especially against Jedi.

The Director was not a fan of Boba Fett, he was just a fan of a cowboy character named Cad

Cad was the best thing that happened in the series.The most important thing he gave the show was how a badass bounty hunter is supposed to be.Fett acted more like a lazy crime boss just wanting to get by and not stir the pot.

This whole show didn't do Boba justice... Actually apart from few scenes in Mandolorian no show or movie after Empire strikes back did Boba justice. He was awesome in the exspanded universe though. Guess i"ll always have that.

@@TempestGhost Except since the duel was cut if this line was meant to be a reference to that duel, the dent probably shouldn't have been on the helmet to begin with, it would make sense if this was after that duel and Bane survived their duel since both did land hits on each other.
