One thing is if you are in a very clutch situation and you may die you can rocket barrage and be lightsaber distance to an enemy to sort of Kamakazi them

Another benefit, which wasn't mentioned in the video, of hovering in one place with the jetpack is that it consumes so much less fuel than moving around, because the jetpack doesn't have to be in use for as long to stay airborne.

I'm a new subscriber, and was so glad to see this vid in my notifications as Boba is the character I've used the least. The tips were straightforward and will be easy to include in gameplay. I look forward to levelling up Boba alot more now. 👍

Lol I destroyed a full hp anakin within like 10 seconds in HS without losing any hp by utilizing all these tips

Awesome video mate! I have definitely used a lot of these tips for a long time and they work quite well! I love being aggressive on lightsaber heroes and it always seems to catch them off guard every time and it’s great 😊😊 I’ve been trying to help my subs improve with Boba too so I’m glad to see you’re doing the same, considering you’re good with Boba too 😊🔥

When it comes to the rocket barrage, they fire at a consistent rate, so when you're good with him you can chase enemies (especially blaster heroes) and fire them horizontally with a lead on a moving target, also they spread more the further away you fire them so always try to be relatively close to the target depending on your skill, if you can reliably hit them with your blaster you should be good to hit them with the rockets. Finally if you do get trapped by multiple players and are almost certain you're going to die try firing your concussion rocket directly at them before firing a barrage at the ground in front of them then try to dodge forward past them, or if you're a bad-ass start spamming your flamethrower (melee) and do as much damage as possible while they're disorientated.

You can also use his jet pack as a sort of fast sprint by feathering the flight button and keeping yourself just a few feet off the ground, it's good for flying through narrow areas of maps while quickly evading enemies.

As a player who uses Boba as my main for Dark Side, I really like the buff and I think that they did a great job of balancing him.

do you have to hold on to the fuel botton of something? I still dont 100% get how it works. is it timing when you get push or pull? am still like falling down like a rag doll lol (sorry for my lack of english)...

I'm not saying this because im a boba main, but boba is by far the hero with the highest skill ceiling thanks to his jetpack alone, Learn to use it and you become nearly unstopable.

Absolutely false. It’s definitely easy for an idiot to be a bad boba but it doesn’t take much to be difference maker with him if you use the right cards. The jet pack is insanely simple. There are many other characters that have a higher ceiling.

sebastian larsen Lol. This guy hit a couple minus the Iden. She is honestly very easy to use even compared to boba imo. But what makes you think he has “by far” the highest skill cap. And please don’t say the item that grants him by far the most mobility of all characters even as a gun hero. Or is it the rockets that let you decimate opponents by pressing one button while flying over their heads? Granted you put on the star cards to make it op. Get out of here with that “highest skill cap” bs especially if you’re saying boba😂😂

Hey brother. Thanks for the tips. I already know this advice is good because you're a Boba Fett main lol. I've known you long enough to figure that out. I find it very hard to go up against lightsaber heroes after the recent update to HVV. Lightsaber heroes have been grouping up literally just to take me down, usually Anakin Obi-Wan and Mary Sue, and it's bad enough to make me stop using him. Hopefully these tips will help me

There should be toggle zoom or toggle vertical/horizontal flight with the triangle button(ps4) cuz aiming down sight is nice and sometimes you get knocked down and you want to go up fast like in naboo. Otherwise you fall in the void...

Health and regeneration cards are more useful now, besides that it's basically the same. I just swapped most of my increased health cards to health on kill cards and left most other cards the same.

The twisted jedi how do you fast recover with other characters

I feel with the buff they should try to balance his ability for unlimited jet fuel, it's made trying to kill boba such a pain in the ass, maybe like they did with Vader instead of unlimited just have the burn rate reduced by 50 percent then the jet pack star cards would be more appealing to certain players

the same as the other hero dash or dodge roll/infantry roll

I hope my comment is seen because it is so late in the game rn. But I’ve noticed boba fett is weak now, he can’t mid air dash after being knocked and his concussion grenade isn’t strong as it use to be

If I can master this, I will take great pleasure killing OP Anakin. So what you are saying is that if Anakin pulls you, you simply push dodge and he will land on the floor ready to dash again?

He's not that OP in HvV anymore. He's good but I much prefer Obi-Wan over him. In GA and CS that's a different story. Just look out for his Retribution.

You know I have been playing better w him, but he’s still as sweet as pudding, just as soft too. Either that or all the force sensitive fighters are too good. Like can it be that hard to even put the playing field so skill can actually be an argument

Just activate his jetpack

In allowing for mid air knockdown recovery, thereby removing all knockdown effects for all players (not just Boba) EA has DRASTICALLY ALTERED the way the game has to be played. Playing Anakin or Kylo and having other players SELF RIGHT in mid air is totally asinine and makes the game pretty stupid. All EA needed to do was to remove the knockdown effect of Chewy and Han's Detonite Charge to Boba. That way he could stay out of range of the Force users and the problem would have been solved. EA SUCKS.

my boba is toxic... 95% of the time i am on the ground annoying the absolute crap out of u and my dodge skills are excellent. i learnt the fly back on my own and i also use the fly over. like my boba is disgusting. i main use my jetpack to get to players and then i play as if he doesn't hav a jetpack and i hav won against countless hero including 2 saber heroes at the same time

The BobaFett's jetpack should take a while longer to recover from Force attacks. It's almost impossible to kill him from pushing him off a cliff

Not to be that guy, but i came here looking to learn advanced movement for Boba and all i got was someone telling me to hover while firing rockets and don't forget to dash rofl. All of this shit is common sense and if you didn't know this then you might as well quit the game now to save the headache

mid air recovery was the stupidest buff ever, now Boba is ten times more annoying..... if you know how to properly use him you wouldnt need to rely on this stupid fan service, and now he completely unbalances matches because you have a devote one player on full time Boba duty to keep him occupied at all times. And its always gotta be ME! because everybody gives up on bringing him down and sleeps on him while hes dominating the kill count and everybody wonders why we lose.....so stupid!!

boba is trash and ruins this game mode. change my mind
