So very poignant to remember the music of my parents and grandparents. These memories both haunt me and help me get through the remainder of my life. At seventy, clearly I have lived longer than I have left...I am one of the last who still remember and embrace our eastern european heritage especially in our rich and compelling music. When it is my time to go, I shall just follow the music and I shall be home. .
R.I.P. Austie you were a great musician and a wonderful person and long time friend!

Very sad, but true. "To everything there is a season..."
I am glad that they now offer non-alcohol "O'Doul's" at Frankenmuth, Michigan.
This band is doing their best to whip the crowd into a frenzy, metaphoricly speaking. Did they succeed? I'm feeling it.
Bob Turcola has a terrific band here, I sure love his music, but who is that excellent back up accordionist? never seen a guy play like that before, does someone know who he is?

@kavanaugh77 all the big polkafests are the older generations are dying and younger generations seem to have no interest in polka music even up here in northern WI/ MN
Not many people dancing if any?The band even brought their own cheerleaders from the Dallas Cowboys.LoL
I have several tapes by Bob’TURCOLAI hope I pronounced it or spelt it right but anyway he was great tape so I suppose it like the white beer poker that was always pretty funny
