This was one of my dad's favorite songs. He, in some way, saved the world. Not because he literally did that, but he helped so many people. He was a rather well-known person locally, loved by many. In other words, he was some kind of "local hero". Unfortunately, he died exactly 11 months ago: on January 30th, 2023. Shortly before he died, we were doing repairs to an arcade machine, and he suddenly recalled the chorus of this song, and asked me to play this. I loved it, completely blind of what the lyrics' true meaning was. Today, December 29th, 2023... A day before my father's death anniversary, I'm listening to this song, to remind me that my father did so many great things to a lot of people. "Save the world," that is the feeling I get when listening to this song. Save the world to continue my father's legacy. Happy new year, father. May you rest in peace, drinking the chalice of victory and watching upon me, as I continue your legacy.

Noto que la mayoría que tiene mi edad manifiesta exactamente las mismas sensaciones. Eramos libres, jóvenes, felices, sin preocupaciones, era todo mucho más mágico y más noble. good news. Every music of any time holds weight in the field of philosophy, regardless of you personal likings. Being studied by philosophers doesnt make it any better or very important. Its been centuries since philosophy stopped being a word used to aggrandize arbitrary values.

I was 14 or so when this song released, it was everywhere, and I couldn't get enough of it, I had it on my MP3 player. When you're young it just hit different, it was making me so excited for life and made my imagination flourish, so keen to explore the world. I used to listen to it day and night and always ran to the TV when they played it.

This song reminds me of my childhood, especially from 10 to 14 years old. I live in a small touristic city near the sea in Croatia, and every summer my friends and i would be chilling at the beach all day and all night. This song would play in coffee shops and bars nearby, and it often played during ATP (tennis tournament), during the day they would play matches, at night there's a party festival. I can also remember admiring the hotels, apartments, nice cars, palms and beaches while listening to this song, because it has such an elegant, luxurious and groovy vibe. It also reminds me of sneaking into hotel pools and running from security lol.. It reminds me of running after small tourist trains to sneak in. It reminds me of first girlfriends, first kisses, losing my virginity, first cigarettes, first time getting drunk, first time getting high on weed.. In that time Facebook was still kinda rare, not everyone had it, and i remember making my profile for the first time, taking pictures of me and my friends and uploading, chatting with girls and meeting new people, adding new friends from other countries that you've met while they were on holiday in your city.. Aaaah such beautiful times. No worries, no stress, no health issues, only happiness and bliss. I wish i could go back in that time and stay there forever!

Ésta canción sonaba cuando yo era adolescente. Y me identificaba con ese chico, porque quería escapar de mi casa desde muy temprana edad. Cuando tuve catorce años me fuí para nunca más volver. Y ahora, después de tantos años y tantos pesares, peleas y desafíos, soy adulto y cuando escucho ésta canción recuerdo con algunas lágrimas mis ganas de escapar. This damn video always makes me cry. I remember when I was a child, all alone playing in my fantasies, making up toys with anything because my parents would not buy me proper ones. I had a dog too, but I was too innocent to seriously think that one day she would be gone. I wish I had passed more time with her or that my parents allowed her to be in my room, so I could have better memories with her. I feel ill that now I don´t have time to fantasize and play anymore (not even video games), I just have time to go to take classes at university, come home, do homework, work and sleep. Lo mismo me ha pasado.... he llegado a ver a la musica como un recipiente para las emociones y recuerdos que en algun momento tuvimos, es por ello que al volver a escucharlas destapas ese recipiente lleno de recuerdos y sentimientos.

I finally found you... I've genuinely been searching for this song by whistling it for the better part of a decade after hearing it in an advert as a kid. I only just remembered the phrase "Hold on" today and here we are. Pure magic and nostalgia.

Henry Cisneros Por supuesto primero se lo dejas a Dios. Pero tienes que pedir. Entendimiento, sabiduría, salud y ganas . Pedir a tu subconsciente que mismo quieres ser en la vida. Yo lo que hice fue estudiar y estudiar y no en las grandes universidades de ricos o millonarios mis estudios fueron en universidad estatal o publicas como las quieras llamar. Un maestro de la secundaria dijo una vez el rico se hace a través del tiempo . Con todos los esfuerzo que te propongas.
