He’s the greatest “Rocker” in the World, hands down. ❤️🍃❣️🍃❤️
Thank you for posting, History is past, but the legend is there, such beautiful music that we grow up to it, Thank Bob and all those that make music happens.
Wonderful information. I knew a little bit of it, but not most of it. Would love to see part 2. I've met him on 3 different occasions, and in 2019, he performed in my city, at a facility that I worked security at, as part of his final farewell tour. Once again, I got to meet him, but alas, he didn't remember me from out previous meetings. But, he see's millions of people annually, so it's understandable. His show here was one of the most amazing shows I think he's ever done. It was awesome to watch him do all of the songs we have all grown to love over all the years. He will be missed, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. But his music and his legend will live on, long after he's gone. And I will be one of those who will be still playing his songs until I'm unable to do so any more. One of the most memorable memories of him was his concert he did in Michigan which ended up being the live recording of the Live Bullet Album. I was front row center for that show, and I'll never forget it.

We have something in common we both met Bob Seger and I feel 100% exactly the same about him as you do❤
I remember my high school years in the late 70's listening to and learning to play Bob's songs. One morning I woke up and heard my dad listening to Like a rock and him telling me how close the story was to his own life.😁
I met Bob Seger in Columbia South Carolina I am the girl that worked for James Brown the soul singer The hardest, working man in show business Because I work for James Brown I was able to get a door open and I actually meant Bob Seger one time and I went to every show of Bob Seger‘s from then on in Atlanta, Georgia Savannah Georgia Columbia South Carolina Augusta, Georgia I have more to say, but I will leave it between being Bob Seger‘s manager black bird, and Bob Seger I want the world to know that Bob Seger was truly a good person to me as well as his manager. Thank you very much for being so nice to me.❤
My all time favorite forever, You're the Greatest Now, Always, and, Forever.Thank You 💕

The background music in your video is too loud for the tone of your voice. I was in China Grove TX looking for the Purina dealer. It was at the Ice House(convenience store)

Charlie, the music is fine. You must be listening on on an Android or some other type of phone.I don't know why this happens.Still working on solution. There is a way to fix it on your end.Go to KZread search for your type of phone and type "can't hear audio". A couple of setting changes. It plays fine on iPhone ,desktop and laptop.Cool that you were in China Grove TX. I hope this helps so you can enjoy the video. Thanks for watching.

He completely left out the 10 year deal the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section worked out with a handshake that launched Bob into the big time and brought FREY Henley AND Tim Shmit TO Sheffield, Alabama for a variety of projects . AS Bob was rounding out the deal with the Rhythm Section, one of The Swampers, Barry Beckett, announced that he was leaving Sheffield and Bob went with him, up the road to Nashville0f course they made a bundle in Music City. That made Frey the King of MUSCLE SHOALS! HE HAD A VERY PRODUCTIVE RUN of more than five years with the Swampers and other pals. All 0f this went on in a town of less than 7000. CRAZY DAYS!

Did Bob ever acknowledge the similarities between his 1966 song "East Side Story" and Van Morrison's (Them) 1964 hit "Gloria"? He'd have been sued in a heartbeat today.

WRONG ! VAN MORRISON wouldn't have SUED BOBSEGER they were GOOD FRIENDS and the words to east side story weren't PLAGERIZED from GLORIA!

@@Jerry-up8bk It's not the lyrics, it's the instrumental groove and the melody of the chorus that are damned-near identical to "Gloria." And it would be the music publishers suing for a share of the royalties, not Van Morrison.
Spotty but ok.

Spotty as in....
Dude, that background music needs to stop!!!
Another thing when Bob said he was retiring he told the band to not worry he was giving them a guaranteed million dollars each. On a hand shake deal with the swampers he always paid em just like he said he would.

You are correct.I watched an interview with the swampers and they talked about how many musicians they have played with They said.Bob Seger is one of the very few that said they would get a royalty and have over the the years.
My main man, mister bob seger first time I saw him tickets were 6.50
