LaDominicana33 Why the sarcasm? It's a fact of physics, and and absolute LAW in painting . You MUST have dark , in order to show light. Without dark, there would ONLY be light, and a monotonous and inadequate composition.

+Peeled Apples His calm demeanor had nothing to do with "acting". To paraphrase Bob, his 20 year military career taught him that screaming, giving orders, etc. did not make him happy (and i dont think neither would it make any non-sadistic person feel good in general). So he chose to never practice aggressiveness again and just make beautiful happy little trees and stunning happy free clouds for the rest of his life. RIP Bob Ross. Humanity today could really learn a thing or two from your legacy.

You are a wonderful human being Bob. You may call yourself lazy, but you've done more than you'll ever know. RIP Bob. Hope you're finding plenty of happy little clouds in heaven.

I used to watch this man on PBS all the time when I was a kid; one of the few things that got me through all the bullying. Thank you, Bob, for so many wonderful days growing up listening and watching you.

Even the Night Hawk is getting ASMR from Bob's amazing voice.

I use to enjoy watching Bob Ross after coming home from school. And when I was home I would be ready before his show would come on having my art materials ready. (Art table,paint brushes...) It was fun. I wasn't a great painter but he made me fill good in my mistakes,I took it as happy painting. He was a God's Blessings in the paint world.

Does anyone else find his voice so soothing that they can fall asleep and do it almost every night?

If I could live anywhere, I would probably choose to live in one of his paintings. The landscapes he created are so beautiful.

Something tells me that Bob had a lot of sadness in his life, so he tried to brighten up people's days with his show, and was very successful at doing it. He was truly a man to be admired.

Holy shit, I learned more in 25 minutes than I did a whole semester of color and comp and drawing 1. Although, the classes never get to his level, he teaches you more about blending, contouring and perspective in just 25 minutes. I quit art because I wasn't talented at it, but Bob Ross makes me want to start again.

what people don't stop to realize about him is his he makes all these really good paintings in under 26 minutes some artists take hours to perfect their work maybe even a few days this guy just needs a whole episode of Seinfeld to accomplish that think about it I mean I don't think his paintings are amazing but they are pretty good especially in the time that he's doing them

I always thought a Christian in the public eye would stray from his religion but he stood firm in his faith and for that this man deserves a salute

The two most calming voices in the world are both "Bobs"... Bob Ross and Bob Harris... if everyone in the world listened to either once a day, this planet would be a much more peaceful place!

This man has done so much for the world by doing the simplest of things. Every time I am depressed (which happens a lot) I just binge-watch Bob's videos and auuutomatically I feel much better. He passed away young and in a bad way, but his message will forever live on and keep spreading endless positive vibes. Kudos to the owners of the company for putting these videos here on KZread for the world to see. Happy painting to you all!

But as i said its subjective, and thats your opinion. abstract expressionism is art some sells for a shit ton of money. They did a study 1/2 of people cant tell if its done by a 10 year old or an actual artist.

#God of ASMR ,,,Bob Ross...i used to watch him when i was a kid,,always at night time,,he relaxed me like no one ever did on TV......R.I.P.

Watching these episodes brings back so many childhood memories. I grew up watching Bob Ross and I just loved watching him paint. This is a real blessing to see that his show has been preserved and uploaded to youtube for both old and new fans to view. It brings tears to my eyes honestly, to know how much of a passion he had for his artwork and to teach as he went along with such casual comfort.. Without judgment or criticism. Like he's your best friend showing you all his best techniques. His knife skills are still by far my favorite - The way he creates snowy mountains and cliffs so effortlessly still blows my mind to this day, and it looks soooo real! We miss you Bob, RIP. You had many loving fans, and still do.

His kindness and creativety encouragement makes me feel at home :)

I rarely paint, I mostly draw, but simply listening to his voice and watching him create these amazing works of art is so soothing and relaxing!

"Don't ever waste an opportunity to practice" I like that.

That little smark he makes when he beats the devil out of brushes, genuine. Love you Bob.

I love watching Bob Ross because not only is it informative and fun to watch but it's very relaxing.

This is the first time I even heard of this guy and I already fell in love with his gentle voice and his unmatched skill in painting. A true artist with every sense of the word.

He's so gentle with animals. I'll bet these animals just walked right up to him for no apparent reason. I love this guy! He's so kind to people and animals! 🏆

What an awesome man. I remember watching this show all the time when I was a kid on PBS. He was such an inspiration to so many people.

A small studio somewhere in the far away corner of the world can have so much affect on the whole generation.Bob ross has created numerous engineers,art lovers and a psychology to see things with philosophical significance to nature.From this distant corner of Nepal,I will always remember you.You were my hero and still are.Everytime I see colors,I would wonder how to make that color if I were given standard colors.The world needs more mentors like you who can make things interesting by adding love and life to art.
