@@masja1790 I'll admit that I used to do that, but now I make up my own sky when I paint. I'm so glad I learned the joy of painting from this wonderful man! Painting replaced alcohol for me, and I've been drink free for 6 months now.

I wish I had a nickel for everytime I heard two artists talking to each other and somewhere in the converstion this is said: "I started out with Bob Ross" "Oh, *everybody* starts out with Bob Ross"

He's the Chuck Norris of paints.

One of the best. Black canvases are my favorite.

I remember I used to wake up every Saturday morning just to watch him paint and take in mind I was only 8

I really wish I would have the possibility of writing this amazing man, and tell him how his calm voice, and his beautiful way to look at the world, helped me. How it made me smile and how it made me realise that life is worth living.

I can’t even draw a stick figure but I learned to paint from watching him. They still have classes you can take to learn how to paint like him on his website.

He set a standard of making things look easy “you’re the Bob Ross of .........(anything because it’s your world)”

Wish i could see the paintings he really took his time on

Back in two 2017 I lived in a house that me and beautiful nympho fiance rented. She used to take a lot of opiates and eventually so did I. We used to put on bob ross and nod out to him And most of the time she'd go down on me because that's all she wanted to do. Opiates, Bob Ross and oral with swallowing. I had this for 7 years with her. Boy was I the luckiest guy for 7 years😢 It's been over four years ago and I still can't stop thinking about her. So I guess when you catch lightning in a bottle. And the lightning eventually fades out. You're stuck with a big void for the rest of your life. So be careful what you wish for out there.

Don’t get me wrong I love watching bob ross paint and he’s very talented,but if I have one criticism it’s that he never varies much what he paints,he never did portraits or even flowers,why? He did 400 episodes and once you’ve seen about 30 of them you’ve seen everything he painted,the only thing he changed up maybe was the colours!

They're part of his image/branding, as is his 'fro. And sometimes he'd film an entire season in a couple of days. Just because he's wearing the same thing, it doesn't mean he doesn't wash his clothes. Having it consistent is way less distracting, too.

Actually his old partner and producer made the shirts for him. She is the one in charge of this channel. They wanted the look of his clothes to be able to fit in any era.
