I've watched so many 'Joy of Painting' epsiodes that I can identify most of the paintings contained within this video. Many times I've replayed the same knife section because of the relaxation and ASMR responses I get. Thank you so much for collating all my favorite sounds into one video

That knife work cuts through my axianty like its just not even there wow thus this is incredible.

Glad to hear that it helps, especially during such an anxious time. If you particularly like the knife on canvas and knife on palette sounds, the best eps of the joy of painting to look out for are usually ones with mountains or cabins (or both).

My apologies. All the clips are from different eps and series so the volumes are very different. I do try to adjust the volumes but I only do this through the speakers on my tablet. In future I will try to edit the volumes with my headphones on. I assume you are using headphones?

Yes I am. And it's not really your fault it's in part due to Bob speaking softer toward the end of his painting and more neutral at the start

Bigg Benn you're pure class For putting this together and I thank you. I also noticed the change in volume but i Believe it's more a factor of who is recording his voice at the studio and when it. was recorded.

When Bob say's he doesn't know what those little "sticks or poles" are on top of the barns, I could have told him that they were lightning rods. If lightning hits a wood barn there's a good chance it'll spark a fire especially if hay is stored in it. Those rods are there so the lightning will hit them instead and run harmlessly down to the ground as those rods have a thick copper line running from them to the ground and connected to a 6 foot copper rod sunk into the earth.

I was wondering if you wanted to make another video? One with loud scraping like at 13:30 and 14:00. Also mixing paint on the pallet does it for me. I clicked on another vid that has it but it was too long. 1 hour to 1:15 is good. Just a thought. I really like this one but I want you to get more views for your hard work. 😁

Is there any way to get the audio or video from his instructional videos? Haven't seen those in years but loved them before bed or a nap Thank you for what you do

I have more Bob Ross vids, but they may not be available in your region. There is a lot less Bob Ross eps on KZread now I think and there was quite a few on Netflix ... unfortunately removed off there too. Hopefully they will bring them back, extremely relaxing.

I always wondered if the camera man ever took a power nap ?

What a ridiculous grift. God forbid people watching your stolen ASMR content see Bob Ross doing his life's work. The soothing audio would be completely ruined if people saw beautiful painted landscapes on their screen

@@gotsu21 I'm not even saying I never passed out during an episode; everyone does at one point or another. But the man's life's work was to get people to paint. He knew most of his viewers didn't paint but he said he wished they would try. Replacing the video with a black screen is like muting Yo Yo Ma's violin because people like the way he moves. People can flip their phone over if they don't want to look.

@@gotsu21 sorry dude. Why not pick up a brush and paint? The whole ASMR thing is becoming more disingenuous by the day. Its rare that you come across someone with a wonderful voice. Of course people run it into the ground. So why not learn to paint?

Some people just can't appreciate how helpful a black screen bob ross asmr video can be. I love watching his painting, and I do plan to pick up a brush and try it again some day, but it's pretty ignorant to act like you can't appreciate him without the video. I have actually used Bob to help me fall asleep every night for a couple years now, literally, and having a knife only video with the video removed is extremely helpful. And I think Bob would love that people were finding new ways to appreciate and take therapeutic applications from his videos, even if it's just the audio at times. Trying to dictate how people have to enjoy him is pretty arrogant.

I'm not sure Bob would be too concerned with how people have a pleasurable experience from his show, as long as they derive joy from it. He even mentions a woman who wrote to him to say she watches and has no intention to ever paint and just tunes in to fall asleep to it... and Bob doesn't seem too butt hurt about it. As for stealing his content, it is just a compilation that I've kept mostly knife and palette sounds in that I took time to edit down myself and get no money from as long as KZread doesnt put any adverts on it, it is advert free and surely only serves to get more people into Bob Ross, even those who aren't going to pick up a paint brush. As for flipping your phone so you dont see the screen, I often watch KZread Vids on my xbox, including those to relax and sleep to. I wouldn't feel comfortable tipping my TV face down on to the floor every time I wanted to watch them. The sooner you realise that not everyone has the same tastes or experiences the world in the exact same way as you and you dont feel the need to try and change that the sooner you will be a lot happier.
