It would have been a crime for Uncle Muscles not to give the spotlight to Casey and his Brother. Sure I missed the variety, but sometimes talent has to win out. Looking back I'm so thankful he saw Casey's gift, now knowing that we lost him so young. He was just a boy.

I can agree with you to a certain point, it is true that the atmosphere of the show changed a lot. But the changes were neccessary to build the required infrastructure to host Chasey and his brother. People should also realize that most of the changes were done to block the sewers, instead of just making profit. Blocking of the sewers wasn't done properly, reversing the flow in plumbing was indeed catastrofic and resulted in great suffering for people who were mostly innocent. But great art comes from suffering. I can't imagine a world without the masterpieces Chasey and his brother created. You shouldn't blame Uncle Muscle or Dick Chess, it was mostly the bad plumbers fault that the tragedy happened.

Bob Odenkirk wrote for Tim and Eric. He's written for SNL, lots of stuff. Often goes uncredited just to be nice to friends. He's written and done the announcer voice for most of the Cinco products on T&E, for example. So Bob has always done this style of comedy, T&E just perfected a specific version of it. Like watch Mr. Show, they did some sketches that will look very familiar.
