I've said it before and i'll say it again... Bob Mortimer's life has been an absolutely incredible one... The things he's seen and done throughout his whole life... Would probably fill another two or three peoples life experiences... Bob could tell David Mitchel absolutely anything at all... And David would always doubt himself as to the truth of Bob's stories... He really can't win... No matter how hard he tries!... Bob Mortimer is a completely unique character... And all the normal responses you would have for anyone else who was telling you one of these stories... Goes straight out of the window in a heartbeat... Especially when it's a Bob Mortimer story... Imagine if this show... Would I Lie To You... Had never existed... These incredible stories of Bob's... Would probably only be known by an extremely select group of his very close friends... But because this show... Would I Lie To You... Actually does exist... These incredible Bob Mortimer stories can be enjoyed by millions of others from all around the world... Bob's life has been incredible... He's an absolute legend... God bless you Bob.👍

Just fantastic! Bob doesn't do mediocre when he's on this show. So funny. He just consistently comes out with stuff that is so 'left field'. Why mention the gas cannisters? 😕 I kinda shadowed Michael on this one. Hadn't seen it before. I made my less-than-confident choice but when they started questioning Bob, I was confident that I was wrong. Especially when Bob started protesting David's decision and tried to get him to change it. Then I was pleasantly surprised that I had been right. Great that Harry Harriman gets another shout-out too. Hope he's doing well. I wonder if his mother is still knitting jobble-tops.

I think Bob said in an interview with Richard Herring once that Harry Harriman had died 😢

I'd not seen that one before, I was in tears, Bob is the best....

I suggested that you look at this Bob Mortimer clip as the Crimdon Dene Caravan park is actually just a couple of miles from my house.... And no I cannot imagine walking all the way to Newcastle..lol

Pretty mental seeing how far it is, I've walked to Boro from Hartlepool and it knackering and I'm guessing at nighttime and been drinking even worse

So he was there with Harry Harriman but Steve Bytheway wasn't invited this time.

Great story. My grandparents used to take me to Crimdon Dene for picnics on the beach. It's lovely. It was interesting that Bob knew the distance as 26 miles, which is about right walking. It's a hell of a walk, but feasible. _HOWEVER_ It is very suspicious that 26 miles is the marathon distance, and no one on David's team picked up on that. 🤔 Nowadays, I only watch WILTY with you two. It's even funnier watching you both lose your minds. Best Wishes, Chaps. ☮ I loved David picking Munya Chawawa up on "For sure". 😂 I thought it was probably true until Bob started protesting and trying to persuade David it was true. 😱 He got me.

PS You two have seen WILTY episodes with the spread-out desks. In fact, you've seen the same episode: _Did BOB MORTIMER Lose His Teeth To A KitKat? | WILTY Reaction_ Bob claimed he'd lost nine teeth. Munya was certain that was a lie too. David mentioned Bob's dentistry in this story, so the Kitkat must have been earlier. Best Wishes. ☮

Oh, David... Bob burnt his house when he was little, he used to terrorize his neighbors at night, he worked as a hairdresser paid in egg-sandwiches, he performs his own dentistry, and he even received the honorary title of cockcroach king. How is it possible that you thought this story wasn't true?

Well, some months ago I commented to you about this episode saying that Bob once more caused David to have a meltdown. You replied that you would look forward to it. I'm guessing you were not disappointed.

I grew up a mile away from Crimdon Caravan Park. It’s still there and the beach at Crimdon is beautiful

Interestingly, Harry Harriman has appeared in two of Bob's stories - who is this man? (And there's a funny episode where David over-rides a decision and Mel Giedroyc is... erm... impressed!)

There have been one or two lies told by bob . The egg in the bath was a lie so was the sick owl on the cushion and the cat who he pushed around in a pram and the didgeredoo one .
