George Burns - and here, Bob Hope - LOVED winding Jack Benny up! Those shows were easily the BEST of his early Sixties series.
Жүктеу.....

Bob really knows how to make Jack snicker while trying to appear composed. I love these old shows!

This is great! Always brings a smile to my face. They are both comedy and talent personified. It is had to get dvds of the complete Jack Benny show. The collections have all been truncated and incomplete. Great show.

Bob Hope relied heavily on those cue cards off to the side. Watch him. He really doesn't look at Jack here, and every other live appearance, he does the same thing.

The part of the record producer was played by Peter Leeds, who worked with many other comedians and who performed on several comedy records with satirist Stan Freberg.

I remember Peter Leeds played the part of the nosey neighborhood dry cleaner in the 1960 Bob Hope & Lucille Ball comedy " The Facts Of Life".
