The question should be HOW THE F IS HE NOT IN. Bob was one of the pioneers of a whole genre of radio, and so far ahead of his time in broadcasting and radio entertainment.

Am radio hasn't died, WABC is the #1 station on the nation heard in 38 states, parts of Canada, a sliver of Europe all the way down to Bermuda with millions of listeners of every day

So unpolitically correct I love it

I used to wake up in the middle of the night back in the 70's, so I flipped on Bob Grant. A middle aged woman called in was all mad about some issue. He said, "Rose, Rose....have you been sniffing the cork? " She really got irrate. Another time a guy from Brooklyn called in all upset. (This when Brooklyn was a working class town) "Sir, sir... Are you auditioning for a Huntz Hall movie?" And my favorite----"Kooks to the right of me! Kooks to the left of me! Let me out of here......yeaaaaaaah!"

This is better than any radio talk show since Bob retired.

...Mr. Grant predicted the sorry state we're in...

Only a cavone, only a total greaseball would consider it to be a big deal! Are you telling me you're a greaseball, John? " I miss this blunt, honest commentary so much. There is no one with a microphone these days on the radio who could ever use language like this nowadays.

Whether you were a Democrat or Republican he was by far one of the most intelligent men on the radio.sharp, very knowledgeable and you could never outsmart him.he was ahead of his time for sure and a lot of people did not like that.alot of people do not like to hear the absolute truth.he was not an actor.i met him at the Rio diner and he was very nice off the air and exactly what you heard on the radio.his show was like the sopranos.once you started listening you couldn't stop.these are thousands of phone calls from cassette tapes edited down by me to the very best of Grant.whether you agreed with him or not he was the best.

I was lucky to have talked to Bob on air. It went well, he thanked me for my call!! He was the king of talk radio

Forgive me people, I was 40 years behind the time. It was originally Mario Cuomo who was Governor of New York State in the 1980s. To bring it up to date as of 3 years ago, it is.....Andrew! I miss him every day. You don't have Rush, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, etc without Bob. His sense of humor, his common sense, how he can spot a fake, phony, fraud a mile away. He was incredible. And his knowledge of history. I remember when Jay Diamond sat in with him and his imitations of Koch and Cuomo. And Bob was friends with the liberal Lynn Samuels, her show would sometimes follow his and vise versa. And Bob said about Lynn that politically, she's a moron, but she was a friend. And the callers: Frank from Queens - Vintage Frank. And the blind black guy from NJ - i forgot his name - he was great too. And there was one guy who'd call who always played the harmonica, and Grant would hang up on him. And bless you, you had a call from the wacky ferret guy.

And there was his salute to mario cuomo, Where Are You From, The hit parade continues, if a caller wouldnt stop talking and being boring, Bob would play the sound effect of someone urinating in a toilet, and Jay Diamond's imitation of Bob was spot-on and hilarious. I miss all that.

The salute to Mario is on one of these shows I included it. And that whack-job Arnold used to kill me and the guy with the ferret and the call with Phil was the best.especially when he screams at him then starts laughing lol. this guy was the best of all time and they'll never ever be another Bob Grant. I met him in person he's exactly like he is on the radio

He was a fantastic radio host

I loved Bob Grant...still an AM radio talkshow addict!!!

Bob Grant is a beast. Wish I was old enough to enjoy him in back in the day though... Thanks for uploading these.

its funny,he really was a nice guy,i met him in person.he just had no tolerance for racists or dumb people.the man was very,very intelligent.like judge judy.called like he saw it.he did not play favorites with anyone.cuomo was italian,as he is,look what he did to him for years
