Said this before. A LOT of Dylan's 80's work is slept on. And that's depressing as he truly reinvented himself and adorned a new aesthetic. And you what he thought about people who didn't like him in the 80's? Fuck em'. This, Man of Peace and Jokerman are iconic songs.

Don't ever read Ian Bell's book(s) about him. He claims pretty much everything he did in the '80s AND the '90s was trash. Why did he bother writing all those pages when all he ever liked was Blood on the Tracks? He calls it his "masterpiece", but says Blonde on Blonde is "uneven" and "didn't quite work". This guy's BRAIN doesn't quite work. Myself, I think his masterpiece is whatever he is working on now. Lately, Rough and Rowdy Ways. BTW, Ian Bell says he "lost his voice" in the '80s.

Been so long since a strange woman has slept in my bed Look how sweet she sleeps, how free must be her dreams In another lifetime, she must have owned the world Or been faithfully wed To some righteous king who wrote psalms beside moonlight streams I and I In creation where one's nature neither honors nor forgives I and I One said to the other, no man sees my face and lives I think I'll go out and go for a walk Not much happenin' here, nothin' ever does If she wakes up now, you know she'll just want me to talk I got nothin' to say, 'specially about whatever was I and I In creation where one's nature neither honors nor forgives I and I One said to the other, no man sees my face and lives 🎵🎶🎵🎶 Outside, two men on the train tracks and nobody in sight And they're waiting for spring to come, smoking down the track The world could come to an end tonight, but that's alright She should still be there sleepin' when I get back I and I In creation where one's nature neither honors nor forgives I and I One said to the other, no man sees my face and lives 🎵🎶🎵🎶 Noontime, and I'm still on the road on the darkest part Into the narrow lanes, I can't stumble or stay put Someone else is speakin' with my mouth, but I'm listening only to my heart I've made shoes for everyone, even you, while I still go barefoot I and I In creation where one's nature neither honors nor forgives I and I One said to the other, no man sees my face and lives One, two, three

Here's a poem: If I give my beauty inside to you, I have high expectations of your beauty too. I won't take any ugly deceptions of only what is sin. I value my beauty within. If this should ever happen, it has to be that way. I won't walk away in sorrow. I won't walk away in pain. I don't plan to regret what I do and agree to. I don't believe in revenge and never have. I don't live in the past. I'm not dying that way. I give because Iive. I won't expect any more or less from you, but the love in your heart must be alive and not be divided there. I don't want to take any evil that I refuse to bare. I know the differences. It's something that's a spiritual experience. That's why the hurt too, can also be extreme. You have to be ready and it's not something taken lightly to me. I need to know what's in your heart. If you wish I can hear it in a clean and refreshing new song. My heart has been with you all along. I don't want to ever leave you, but don't take what I say as wrong. Late

For he says, “You cannot see my face, for man cannot see me and live.” Scripture does not indicate that this causes the death of those who look, for how would the face of life ever be the cause of death to those who approach it? On the contrary, the divine is by its nature lifegiving. Yet it is the characteristic of the divine nature to transcend all characteristics. Therefore he who thinks God is something to be known does not have life, because he has turned from true being to what he considers by sense perception to have being. -. - Gregory of Nyssa Ad 394

What a beautiful song. It's so sensitive. Creative. Creation will never be gone. It just regenerates and is never ending. This world is all about mankind's experiences moment by moment, and we should be awakening to awareness. The pain in this world is but a moment in infinite time. Yes, the pain is real, but the greatest amazing moments can be made so much better. It's how you embrace it all, including the pain, but that's limited compared to what you can perceive as joy just being in the moment of knowing that you're alive at all. There's a big difference between merely Living each moment of your mind in a survival mode and Living each moment in the mode of really Living. When you do so, you don't think so much about the struggle, instead you think about the experience of each moment. Do you understand what I'm trying to explain? Anyone? VC

It's about the Bible, specifically referencing the Book of Exodus. "Infidels' is one of Bob's strongest Christian albums, and one of his best. Bob had recently converted from Judaism to Christianity when he wrote it. Of course, the Bible teaches humility.

Been so long since a strange woman has slept in my bed Look how sweet she sleeps, how free must be her dreams In another lifetime she must have owned the world or been faithfully wed To some righteous king who wrote psalms beside moonlit streams I and I In creation where one's nature neither honors nor forgives I and I One said to the other, "No man sees my face and lives" Think I'll go out and go for a walk Not much happenin' here, nothin' ever does Besides, if she wakes up now, she'll just want me to talk I got nothin' to say, 'specially about whatever was I and I In creation where one's nature neither honors nor forgives I and I One said to the other, no man sees my face and lives Took an untrodden path once, where the swift don't win the race It goes to the worthy, who can divide the word of truth Took a stranger to teach me, to look into justice's beautiful face And to see an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth I and I In creation where one's nature neither honors nor forgives I and I One said to the other, no man sees my face and lives Outside of two men on a train platform there's nobody in sight They're waiting for spring to come, smoking down the track The world could come to an end tonight, but that's all right She should still be there sleepin' when I get back I and I In creation where one's nature neither honors nor forgives I and I One said to the other, "No man sees my face and lives" Noontime, and I'm still pushin' myself along the road, the darkest part Into the narrow lanes, I can't stumble or stay put Someone else is speakin' with my mouth, but I'm listening only to my heart I've made shoes for everyone, even you, while I still go barefoot I and I In creation where one's nature neither honors nor forgives I and I One said to the other, "No man sees my face and lives"

"I shall not go down underground when they say death is coming round." "I shall fight, fight against the dying of the light." Dylan/Dylan.... I shall look up when my redemption comes near, allow my eyes to see and my ears to hear. I shall show my face to all of the redeemed. The darkness of veils I don't want because I want to be free. The veil has already been lifted in Revelation style as far as the eye can see if they ponder on it awhile. There's a train coming and I'll get on board, and only takes my tongue as the defining sword. I'm going down the road one of these days to see a shining face, and I want to see him stare right into my face. I'll look back into Him as He walks with Grace. No, I'm not going down like that because I'll pick up the pace. VC

I think we can all learn to get along we each other. I think we have grown in wisdom together. We can all be proud to be human beings. We built together a strong world together. I believe its possible. You see. I don't think you share my dreams. Nature given more than she takes. All one like the garden we all have around us. No mistake if it's was my past life choice oh a queen sir lol really cool stuff just want to be me ok I love being me.
