Think of a musician nowadays, standing up on stage before you, belting out a setlist like this. It’s absolutely unthinkable. And to think this man, 39 years later, is still writing jaw-dropping songs like this! Whether or not you’re a huge fan of his, it can’t be denied that the songs he’s written and continues to write are American classics. His words will be crooned for as long as humanity exists. A legend in the truest sense of the word. Thank GOD I’ve seen the man a number of times live. It’s like being in the same room as Beethoven or Whitman, DaVinci, or Shakespeare. We are so blessed! But nowhere as much as this man’s pen and typewriter was. Thank you Bob! “I’ll be with ya through and through.”

I was 10 in 1976 and already an avid Bod Dylan fan, no matter what anyone else said I played his music loud and proud and sang along in my own little world. I still do that today, I dreamed of seeing him in concert for my whole life, and in November of 2019 he came to Providence, RI. My son-in-law and I were fortunate enough to get the last 2 seats, he took me for an early Christmas present and we were both in our glory as he is just as big a fan as me. Upon leaving the theater we were blessed with the opportunity to walk along side Bob Dylan's tour bus, it was a very large but unassuming brown beauty. Unfortunately the windows were all black and we couldn't see him, but we'll still say we walked along side Bob at a distance of less than 10 feet, what an awesome ending to a tremendously exciting night. The only that could top that would be to actually meet Bob Dylan in person and speak to him some day.

She credits Prine with having written some of the most requested songs in her wide multi-lingual repertoire. She ain't no songwriting slouch, either. This is GOLD. Thankfully I did get to see Bob & The Band at MSG 2 years earlier but I wish I had the chance to see him in a smaller venue like this. I had a buddy when we were in our teens back in the early 70s, who with me, we were the big Dylan freaks in SHeepshead Bay Brooklyn. We used to lock our other friends in his bedroom and not let anyone out until they heard Desolation Row, Visions.... and other classics over and over until they admitted they loved it. This would take 2 or 3 hours and several bowls of Colombian weed. WHat a blast.

I saw RTR on this leg, in Houston, and it was an incredible show with Willie Nelson opening the second half. I've read though, that the troupe had a miserable time. Dylan was divorcing and subsequently changed the show, his hat and his sense of play. Baez has written about it. Somehow everyone pulled together come showtime.

In 1976, in Clearwater, Florida, our supposed "Dark Ages," and the crowd appreciated the set list above. Now, if they go out, they go to a Hate Rally. So, I prefer to stay at home and listen to this!

me too. The 76 seem to harken back to the folk days, stripped down, where he might've finally laid down the sword and gave enjoyable justice to his pre-electric stuff. 75 has the artistic embellishments, which have their own value sure, but you know..... sometimes you just want to hear someone belt it out and play straight ahead!

An absolute gift to behold : Mr Tambourine Man seems to be a kaleidoscope of Bob’s inner feelings like craving for time out of mind. Bobby Newhart whom Dylan knows for 1200 yrs although humorous , causes Bob to break the song with an OOH ! Dylan is more the genius 🎼 Merci for post.

He is fantastic and lovely and strong 💪 💙 I've never wanted to see him in concert because I thought it would kill the magic I feel when I listen to him. Strange, eh? Anyway, like I say, I can understand your feeling. I'm assuming you're young. I wonder what it's like for some older people seeing this. I'm 60 but it doesn't mean much to me as my feelings for Bob don't have much to do with how he looks, but i know that's not the case for some people (especially females it seems - and I mean that as a simple statement of fact, with no negative connotations)
