Bob is so thoughtful, honest and well rounded. He’s one of a kind. The NBA screwed itself and it’s potential fans when they went to cable. Dan didn’t comment because he’s bought and paid for by ESPN. Dan has zero integrity, when it comes to sports or his job

@@rackball5858 His athleticism was never in question. But the league altered the rules to show off that athleticism. He was allowed an extra step to the hoop and he palmed the ball on his cross overs. And if anyone so much as sneezed in his direction, it was a foul. In the mid-80's, he would regularly get brutally hammered. As did everyone else. MJ and Bulls couldn't really cope with that style of play (Pistons) till the league changed the rules. Bird and Magic elevated their teammates, MJ tolerated his. Put MJ into the league in the late 70's, he would have been a Dominique Wilkins type player. Which is a great compliment in my book. It sounds like I am hating on MJ, maybe I am, but the league recognized MJ's marquee status and capitalized.

So the dude who went to almost twice as many finals and has played 5 more years hasn’t had as many iconic moments? Or they just get belittled because of the MJ lovers in the media? The guy who has the most playoff game winners in history doesn’t have as many iconic moments? Are you sure?

There just arent as many iconic Lebron moments than there are Jordan moments. Lebron’s had the 48 special against Detroit, the buzzer 3 against Orlando(in a series loss), the block….the decision. Jordan has the last shot, flu game, shrug game, shot on Ehlo, switch hands layup, ncaa championship winner, Father’s Day 96, 1st championship crying w the trophy…those are vivid indelible moments that occurred 25-40 years ago & they’re still shown repeatedly to this day.

@@abjustdoit1294 No he won’t. I’ll bet ya 5 mil he won’t. He’s played twice as many finals but a lot of those finals he was on the wrong end of an ass whooping. The only time you can legitimately say Jordan didn’t have it or “failed” is 95. And none of the playoff game winners were series clinchers. Only 1 of them eventually resulted in a championship(2013 vs Indiana game 1). And this isn’t hating. Lebron’s great. Compare him to Kobe, but this was never a legitimate debate to begin with.

In many ways Jordan did more in less time, and left a lot on the table. More rings and more stats. Yet in sacrifing two of his prime years, his accomplishments still dwarf that of his peers among the greats. As someone who was lucky enough to see both guys play I feel fortunate, but the best player I ever saw play retired three times.
