i think one of my favorite things about these two is that they're never insecure about how much the other loves them. like when linda forgot bob's birthday or when bob accidentally kissed gayle. they didn't get upset about it, they just knew that it was an honest mistake

Thats hilarious since the kids often joke that Linda is obviously the one who settled. Its also implied that multiple men have a thing for Linda including Upskirt Kurt, Hugo, and even Teddy (though I often joke that I think Teddy would also take Bob if anything happened to Linda). Even Mr. Fischoeder made the comment in the episode where Bob is forced to take the day off that he wasn't surprised that Linda kicked Bob out stating "We all knew this day was coming. Good for her".

“No one. Talks about. My wife’s. Hands. ON HER BIRTHDAY!!!” This has got to be my favorite line from Bob yet because even if you haven’t seen the show before you can tell instantly that those two love each other from that line

This is how a real healthy couple should be. Even when you get mad or there's stuff that drives you crazy, you still love them and work together. Someone you can be a friend with. I love these two there so sweet

11:20 God the way H. John Benjamin delivers that line was somehow so funny and so full of adoration. It's probably my favorite moment in the show between them. It's such small moment that isn't a big romantic gesture but its so in character for them. I also love how psychically affectionate Bob and Linda are to each other and how often the show doesn't shy away from how they still find each other attractive. They might joke about how they're both getting old, but its never in the way Family Guy makes fun of Lois aging or something. They never make they other one wish they still looked like they did 20 years ago, the love each other they way they are now.

The ring episode gets me every time. It’s so sweet

ngl i don’t usually get emotional when watching shows or movies, but that episode where the ring bob got for linda gets lost at the water park made me tear up. when linda tells bob that she doesn’t need a ring because “our love is in everything we’ve built together”. i am not exaggerating when i think that’s one of the beautiful lines to ever come out of a tv show. it just perfectly explains the beauty of the mundane, day-to-day life of a married couple. the best symbol of their love isn’t anything big and flashy, it’s the restaurant. their kids. their home together. a ring means nothing compared to the volumes their life together speaks. they chose to cultivate a life together and that explains enough. it’s beautiful.

Omg same the Ring always makes me emotional especially the end where the bird carries the ring to the nest outside the restaurant is just so sweet.

I love seeing Bob and Linda interact, they are just so sweet and cute and it's just a breath of fresh air to see a couple in any animated show (not counting Bluey) who actually love each other. Like, not only do Bob and Linda love one another, but they also will do anything for their kids. It's just so sweet to see a family in a show get along so well.

This couple just make sense. Their flaws aren’t in the area if psychotic or verge in the area of infidelity, like Peter and Lois, and as the audience we just accept that they’re together because….plot. It really feels like a marriage, like they’ve been married for a while they have three kids. Not everything is perfect. But they’re trying and they’re silly and they support each other. It’s lovely ❤

Bob and Linda are everything I want in a relationship and are the best and purest form of a Power Couple known to Adukt animation!

Honestly, when I started watching the show on a whim I wasn’t expecting much. But seeing them acting like this, like they still love each other even after all of these years and through hard times, was such a sweet surprise! I love this show and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites even though I’m only on season 3.

I used to think that I was weird to watch bobs burgers and I am happy that I can relate to a whole community of people.

They are like the healthiest couple on tv cartoon

This is why Bob and Linda are the ultimate couple. They aren't the newlyweds in the honeymoon phase nor are they shown as the ghost of marriage future full of resentment. They're just absolutely there for eachother, they're a stable and typical (maybe not neurotypical) marriage. Linda is ride or die and all she could ever ask for is that Bob makes the effort of her. Even if said effort resulted in an absolute disaster she'd never think any less of it's value. Bob meanwhile knows Linda's worth and thinks the absolute world of her, even when Linda is at her craziest Bob will still be their to keep her anchored because he knows she's perfect for him.

i just love these two because they actually care about each other Bob may be more melancholic but linda's there to brighten things up for him Linda can be over bearing at times but bob helps support her passions Instead of having them be opposites and them working against each other all the time, they actively work together to bring out the best in one another, its just so perfect i love it

this is why, among other reasons, bobs burgers is my favorite.

Bob and Linda are so inspirational in their relationship. Regardless of what others say about Bob, Linda still has a deep adoration for him and encourages him to pursue his dreams. In turn, Bob loves and respects Linda, always supporting her quirky ideas as he knows it makes her happy. It's rare to find such a redeeming married couple in adult cartoons but Bob and Linda definitely set the standard.
