After having Portronics dash 12 & Stone 1800 tested, I’m telling you, Portronics dash 12 has more deep bass and thump compared to boat 1800, even stone 1800 is 5-7% less louder than portronics dash 12.

@@Purecast9 thank you for the reply. But have some further queries. I already have the Soundfrast 500 and not satisfied with the sound quality and the base distorts at max volume. Want to buy the Tribit Stormbox but simply don't have the budget. Will the Portronics dash 12 satisfy my needs? And is it still better than the boat stone 1800 as well?? I have heard that the 1800's highs and mids are irritatingly sharp at times. I prefer more mellow highs and deep base. Please share your thoughts . Will be very helpful for me. And do you feel floor tower speakers are actually better than these boombox type speaker for music enjoyment?

JBL Boombox is a completely different segment, even if you pair 4 stone 1800's, JBL will still be better. Sound from Stone 1800 is similar to Charge 4. Both JBL XTREME 3 and Boombox is WAY WAY better than this boat speaker.
