@@chud327 It is cool that you save junk & put it to use. Your narration of the process & your editing is excellent. Sometimes I see an episode & don't watch it because it is just another day in the mud. When the kids are involved it usually gets interesting. I watch the build portions of many of the big car channels & skip the burnouts & racing. All of us have different interests. I realize every day can't be a build day. When I skip a video KZread takes me out of the Chud 327 rotation. Yesterday I watched the Chevy truck/Ford Explorer video. I have owned a truck like the Chevy & I still own a 2000 Ford Explorer Sport. I kept asking how I missed that video made back in May? Keep making videos & hopefully grow the channel. The Camping with Steve channel stumbled along for a long time. A Canadian TV network did a thing about the guy & now he has 350,000 subscribers. He saw your barrel boat & built one, he credited your channel. All of your subscribers should be sharing your videos on their facebook channel. Thanks again for what you do.
Sir, let me tell you, I am pretty crafty myself but you are at a different level, You have inspired me to start a new project. Wife here I go again.

If I were you I would have welded an aluminum transom to that thing instead of putting the wood back into it. I get that most people don’t have access to a tig welder but that’s seems like the best thing to do.

Craigslist and search your entire state. There will be this old boat upside down leaning up against the back of a garage with trees grown up around it. 😎
Nice score on everything there. You might think about and tiller handle extension so you can move forward in the boat when by yourself to better trim it. Really like how you take "stuff" and build something useful out of it.

I got a 8ft john boat from my neighbor for free. And i built my 6x4 traile for like $150 . And there both perfect for my lake we have caught alot of bass probably over 100 altogether. If you want to come out and fish let me know?

Dang Mr Chud, I've been looking on craigs list every day for weeks looking for anything that floats. I've got a problem.. on my channel I maybe vowed to mount a whip on the back, trail a ground wire floating on some fishing bobbers- and make contacts in a video! I'll take anyting- canoe with flat transom, kayak, flat bottom row boat, anyting. I can't find anything under $700 and those have moldy wood that's falling apart.. and the ad says 'excellent shape' every time! :)

@@chud327 Yeah, I'll just wait till winter, when there's 2' of snow on the ground and see how much people think an old canoe is worth then. lol. Bet they'll take 100 for one.. especially when offered with a smile. I heard that a 20 and a smile gets more done than just the 20. I'm gonna find out! Worse comes to worse, you showed us all how to do a pontoon boat.. and I'll just build one this winter. Thanks for a really fun channel Mr. Chud327!

I love hearing that and feel free to watch it 100 times more. I have a video that I am current uploading of testing the bigger one that was at the end of this video. It should be out soon. I hope you will watch it 100 times. It went 3x as fast as this Honda kicker. Thanks so much for watching and letting me know how much you have watched it, that warms my heart.
This is awesome! Can't wait to see how the Oppy pushes it in the next update. I love those old school aluminum boats like that too. Seen a few around here like it, but the either want too much or they don't have titles. I'd love to get a similar one like it for solo fishing trips. Texas Parks & Wildlife is anal about old boats with no titles though. It's nearly impossible to title a boat without a clear title from the current owner and a clear transfer to you. It took me a few years to find a boat for the right price with clear paperwork. I just scored 2 boats in a trade for an old blazer that needed a transmission though, but it took me forever to find a deal like that.
