Boat is Sinking ...What Not AGAIN!!

This yacht was originally haul out so that we could install a new generator. Then after further discovery it was determined that the boat needed much more work. The Captain reported water coming in when he originally drove the boat to the boatyard. The owner decided to put the boat back in the water and have us wait on the new batteries. Then when the Captain started to take the boat to the slip he called and reported to Matt that he needed help he was taking on a lot of water again. Matt hopped on board and they drove it to another boatyard to get hauled out this all happened in about 40 mins. We had our guys go to over to the new boatyard to set up the crash pump because none of the bilge pumps were working. Can't make this stuff up!!

Great job on managing chaos Matt. Your team is doing well keeping up. I'm sure the hybrid boat is no surprise, in fact I'm sure you and your wife see this quite often. Owners pass away and much maintenance is needed before auction. Y'all have a good day.

The biggest compliment is to give us thumbs up and share our videos! This was suppose to be a normal generator installation and look how it changed so quickly! This boat was sinking again and the Captain got nervous and picked Matt up at the dock so he could look at the issue while the boat was running. Sure makes things exciting?

Make a fork extension out of heavy pipe. Give yourself longer reach over boats

Interesting boats, even minus the hybrid setup which sound unique, but the fact their hulls can act as displacement hulls and then you can also run them faster if needed to get out of weather, make a reservation, etc…hence “swift trawler”. Economical to move slow most days and then speed up temporarily if needed. I wonder in the real world how people utilize them. More to research :) Hope to visits the Keys with my wife and two young boys in upcoming years. I need to find the best family friendly areas.

What a terrible design if you need to remove a generator in order to remove some batteries. We all know that batteries need replacement well before a generator does.
