BOARDING SCARLET LADY FOR A 2 WEEK TRANSATLANTIC | Virgin Voyages Transatlantic Cruise
Join us for our first day on board Scarlet Lady as we embark on our second Virgin Voyages Transatlantic cruise.
We were so excited to be back onboard a Virgin Voyages cruise ship, and be on Scarlet Lady for our first time. This cruise, we headed from Miami, to Barcelona, with a lot of fun in between! We had an easy embarkation process and most of the day to enjoy the ship. We met up with some friends for the sail-away party on deck 15, and had a few of the complimentary champagnes. After a long sail-away, we went to get ready for dinner and did some pre-dinner shopping. An amazing dinner at The Wake was the perfect way to start off our cruise. Of course we couldn't miss one of our favourite shows, The Untitled Dance Show Party Thing, so we headed there before our final event of the night, the PJ party.
This cruise was off to an incredible start, and we were so excited for the next 13 days onboard.

We were on this cruise and spotted you a few times but didn't get a chance to say hello, the cruise was way too short :) It was fitting because the KZreads about your previous Virgin transatlantic were one of the reasons we decided to do this cruise!

I just subscribed! I was hoping to be lucky number 5,000?!?! But, any minute nowwwwww.... 😉 Congratulations! I also did my first Trans-Atlantic last year. If I ever do one again, I think I would cruise westbound from Europe to USA.... that way you *gain* an hour for 6 or 7 days... instead of *losing* an hour 6 or 7 days!!

We went on a TA cruise in April and it was fantastic. They did leave a full cart of luggage at the port. Thankfully it was not my luggage that was left behind.

We love TA cruises! Oh no, leaving our luggage at the port is a big fear… luckily we have always found ours!
I just did a Trans Atlantic last month, Barcelona to Port Canaveral. Loved Barcelona.

Wow, I was in the same cruise. I thought I seen you two in the casino one night. It was a very nice cruise. I had so much fun as always when I sail on Virgin. Thank you for the nice video.

Ahh, how GOOD is Virgin for a transatlantic? As you'll know, I cruised Barcelona to Miami and absolutely LOVED the relaxing vibe of Virgin for that length of time!

I love that you were right next to Alejandro Ortiz (cast member). I watched some of his videos and immediately recognized him dancing in the sail away party.

Yes! It is our favourite cruise line, definitely worth a try (although you may get hooked)

Is there a younger crowd on a transatlantic? I know usually it’s a much older crowd because it’s a transatlantic and it’s a much longer cruise than normal! I guess is it still lively? Is it still fun? Is the ship still a vibe?

The crowd on the transatlantic is generally a bit older, but we were able to find a large group of sailors around our age that we made friends with. Everyone is so friendly, and with 14 days on the same ship, you feel like family by the end. It is definitely still fun and lively, transatlantic voyages on Virgin are our favourite!
