If you only have hand luggage than yes, but if you need to book /check in luggage than you need to put it through security scan and take the scanned luggage to the counter to deposit. After that you can move ahead with your hand luggage to the next security gate where you put your electronic items ,belts power bank etc for scan and after that board the plane.

@@yagamilight64 the hand luggage has to be a single item and should not exceed a particular weight(7kgsbi think) and dimension as mentioned in the ticket so yes a backpack is counted as hand luggage.

i guess we have to print it @ home, because the security guard at airport entrance won't let you in without showing him physical boarding pass and e ticket, adhar card etc

E ticket and aadhar card is enough to enter airport security and then after you can get your boarding pass at the airport kiosk

Well at present we can use just soft copies for the entire process . I did few days back only.

Web self check in ka kya mtlb hota hai?? Aur agar isko nahi kar ke jae, to kya hoga?

Jab aap Web check in karte hai to download folder main apne aata hai.... For example mera indigo ka flight tha to ticket book karne pe flight pnr mila..... Indigo ke site par pnr dekey mobile se Web check-in karne par boarding pass milta hai..... Wahaan download ka option bhi aata hai..... Download kar lo..... Mobile par hi rahega..Screenshot le lo..... Mobile gallery main rahega fir under screenshot folder

this is at airport only ....you have kiosks like this ....you can print boarding pass for free ....if you decide to do at counter they do it for a premium.....I would advise printing it free like this
