Board to Death Ep. 2 - Nathan Willet (Cold War Kids ) | EarthQuaker Devices
Музыка
“In the studio, you just grab whatever sounds good . . . like this reverb, it’s so simple, but so, so great,” says Cold War Kids guitarist Nathan Willet, pointing to his Ghost Echo.
We caught up with Willet before Cold War Kids’ set at EXPRESS LIVE! in Columbus, Ohio to learn how he dials in the tight, dry Telecaster sound that blends so well with the group’s piano-driven, arena-ready rock ‘n soul. A modest pedalboard is home to a Ghost Echo reverb, which Willet uses to lend his single-coil sound some weight, without muddying the signal or adding unnecessary gain to his chewy clean sound.

Love EarthQuaker. Super good quality and really USABLE pedals. They are the EHX for the new generation.
This dude's a legend.
Why doesn't this channel get more views??!

because the internet is a cruel and unfair place. if we had our way, we'd be youtube sensations and then we'd start building pedals on our own private island

Give it time. These are go to videos for us Pedalfiles. Im on a heavy diet of this and rigrundown.
What's funny is I use a Micro amp and I thought the exact same thing. I bought an Arrows pedal but it had way too much treble and sounded way too shrill for just a clean boost. I know it is primarily used for adding treble to fuzzes and stuff so In that regard it works but not for the application I needed. I live EQD stuff though, I have the Hoof and the Bit Commander which are both awesome pedals
Bit late to the party but rediscovered my love of this band recently. Is the reverb then before the fuzz and amp? I recall their first album sounded very much like the reverb was before the distortion
