BOA Handcuff High Security Transport Box Usage Instructions
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This video demonstrates the proper method for securing an inmate utilizing our High Security Dead Bolt Handcuffs, Transport Box and Waist Chain. While the Over-Under method of aligning the arms is not traditional, it is the best method to ensure the inmate's wrist are comfortable.

"If he tries to fight you, ask him to cooperate" LMAO
Thank you. BOA focuses on two things; Key Control via our Restricted Keyway and Key Codes as well as our Anti-Shim Deadbolt Series. The Orange Transport Box and Waist Chain was by request of the both the NYC Dept. of Corrections as well as a number of Super-Max facilities. NYC DOC was the big push though. They assisted with the development via Test and Evaluation before rolling the department to our product in ~ 2004 or so. Back then, they were using standard S&W100 cuffs with the Black Box for transportation. When they finally approved the product, they said we had to make a transportation box for the cuffs if they were going to move forward. We did and so did they. Hence, 16 years later, we are standard operating procedure for all NYC DOC Transports on and off Riker's Island and their other facilities throughout NYC. All this said, while there are other cuffs on the market, no one offers the High Security Key System that we provide. We are in the security business. We understand key control. We brought key control to where there was none.
1:21 “And if he fights you, ask him to cooperate.” huh, never thought of that
nice video - good control
I Love handcuff ❤️
okay so how do you pick them now?
Extremely uncomfortable for the prisoner and especially if he's in it for an extended. Of time

BOA manufactures the product at the explicit request of Correctional Departments across the US. We did not invent the original design. We merely made one to fit our High Security restraints. Furthermore, Handcuffs are intended to be a temporary restraining device for the safety of the transporting officer and general public.
It never ceases to amaze me what some prisoners can escape from during transport in the US...
We already have this for the m-100 and peerless cuffs problem is they aren't usually applied correctly.

Why would you place the padlock in reach of the hand? The padlock goes on the side. You run the length of the chain back through the slot.

If you look, you will see we have another video that shows the other method. We are not advocating one method over the other. What we have found is that different correctional facilities do things differently. We are only showing you what we have been learning from the various departments. It should be noted, even if the pad lock is locked in front as on this video, the inmate is not getting out any time soon. This is especially true with the type of pad lock we used. Our pad lock uses a Restricted Key System. The inmate will not pick or bump it. Hence, unless an officer gives the inmate the key, the inmate is not going anywhere.
Are these used in reality or only for magicians?

Good morning, Read below the other comments and response below. These are the real deal; not for magicians.
I guess I would be fighting for you to put them on. If you successfully put on me, its game over for me.
Do you guys also have heavy leg cuffs?

Why not just use British style rigid handcuffs?

I offer the High Security Deadbolt in the Hinged Style as well. However, what the correctional facilities use is completely up to them. I merely built my business around what they have requested from me. I do not advocate one version of the other. It is all their decision.

@@boasecuritytechnologies2153 I think AlexEssex8 refers to either the (quite old) "Irish Eight" handcuffs or the rigid (not-hinged) Hiatts Speedcuffs. Your "Cuffmax" is a pretty cool thing btw., given how easily normal handcuffs can be picked or shimmed (which I do as a hobby).
You could always just buy some bondage gear, that stuff is restrictive as hell
This is overboard, just use regular belly chain in front or just handcuffs behind the back.

The Orange Transport Box was originally tooled at the request of the New York City Department of Corrections as well as a Supermax from the Minnesota Department of Corrections. We (BOA) did not come up with this procedure. That said, before anyone assumes an inmate to be a low threat, I suggest you watch the following two videos. You can never predict when a prisoner will escalate. I remember well when these two situations occurred.
