Tack så mycket & lycka till själv om du nu håller på med pipor!
Wow! Amazing to see the grain come out in the shape! Enjoys the simple, yet fine things in life. Enjoys life itself. Wow! What talent.
@VSLDavid Thank you David. Anyone who tried their hands on making a pipe from a kit can appreciate just how truly brilliant these artisan pipe makers really are. It's great just watching them do their magic... and dream about one day reaching a fraction of their level. :) Cheers, - Mike

@gdsnuff What! You didn't buy it? :) I've never seen one of his pipes live. There's an exhibition down in the south of sweden showing some of his pipes but I won't be able to go there. :( Mike
@ToBaCCoRoW Bo was a true wizard. Cheers, - Mike
@GothamCitySmoker I heard he could spend 3 months working on a single pipe, just to get it perfect. Glad you liked it. - Mike
@BrassknuckleRide Kul att du gillade den!
@lilclark72 Thanks Dylan. It's when you see guys like these that you understand how some pipes can cost a fortune. :) - Mike
@KyDugong Yeah! Freehand drilling scares the bejeezus out of me... on day perhaps. :) Cheers, - Mike
this is nice.. but are there any videos of making a pipe wit just a knife and some sandpaper? cause i cant afford much.
Nu orkar jag inte leta längre & måste fråga, vad kallas det han penslar på i slutet? Vanlig träolja eller klarlack av nåt slag?
@dohngl Thanks Dean. Well, they say that fancy gadgets doesn't make a better pipe - it just cuts the time making one. I know Bo could spend months on a single pipe just to get that perfect finish. You know as well as I do how much work that's involved in that stage. ;) But yeh, I'm sure Bo kept a few secrets to himself. Cheers mate, - Mike
There are the great pipe masters and above the Gods .....behold a God of pipe

It’s too hard to find Bo Nordh pipe
@PipePedaler He sure was. What I wouldn't have paid to get an afternoon class in his pipe shop. - Mike
Great technician,a "pipe virtuoso" i say.
@Ichbinmuede Glad you liked it. I can't figure out why swedish isn't a world-language. :)

I've seen this 12 years ago for the first time and visited time to time. Since then, I wonder what he said after openning the barbecue (6:23) in Swedish. Would you please write those words here?
@pokiebaron I think a lot of people feel like you. Cheers, - Mike
👍
I don't even smoke and I found this very interesting lol
Well, if you plan to make a pipe out of briar wood I have to warn you that this is a very tough wood. You *can* use a knife, but it has to be razor-sharp... and even then the wood tends to chip easily. The problem with pipes is that they need to be made of really hard wood so that they doesn't burn out so easily as softer wood. I recommend saving up for at least a rasp and a good file. They doesn't cost very much.
you could make a corn cob pipe with just a knife. I've made a few of them that way.
i make one using olive wood only use my knife and sand paper...and it´s a good pipe:)
