This was some video footage that I took in and around my local heritage railway the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway.
NCB No.19 Fife AREA :- some of its history below
0-6-0ST National Coal Board Area 7 (East Fife) No.19 Built 1954, Hunslet Engine Co., Leeds. Austerity design. Works No.3818.
The locomotive was supplied new to the NCB Area 7 (East Fife) at the Michael Colliery. It was overhaued at the Central Workshops, Dysart, in 1965, then returned to the Michael. After the disaster there, it was transferred to Wellesley Coal Preparation Plant where it remained until 1971, when it made its final move in NCB service to Comrie Colliery. In a previous spell of traffic duty at Bo'ness, this locomotive carried a spurious British Railways livery and the number 68019.
Ruston & Hornsby shunter No.P6687 :- some of its history below
4w Diesel Electric Locomotive,
Babcock & Wilcox, Renfrew, No.P6687 Built 1951, Ruston & Hornsby, Lincoln. Works No.312894. 165DE type, electric transmission.
With 165HP available, this type of Ruston shunter has twice the power of its diesel mechanical stablemates in the SRPS collection. For smooth effective transmission of the increased power, the diesel engine drives a generator which supplies electricity to an electric motor which drives the wheels.
Ruston & Hornsby built diesel locomotives from 1931 to 1967, for home and export markets.
The locomotive spent its working life at Babcock's Renfrew Works. This is a large plant, and was even larger in the 1950s and 60s when there as a ready market in Britain and abroad for the industrial boilers and associated plant which Babcocks design and manufacture. Internal user traffic at the works was extensive, and material was moved from shop to shop by rail. This could involve crossing over the BR Renfrew branch. The branch divided the works in two, and traffic included raw materials such as steel from the Scottish steel industry and manufactured products, which left for construction sites or for docks for shipping overseas. The single largest items shipped were boiler drums, designed to the limit of the railway loading gauge and carried on special wagons.
During the busy decades after WW2, there were nine Ruston diesel locomotives at Renfrew Works, divided into two groups by the BR branch, and kept busy meeting the work's needs.
This locomotive was donated by Babcock & Wilcox Operations Ltd., and is now the oldest working example of this design in the world.

I have to say I think this is one of your best ever videos. The railway is wonderful as are the views of the river traffic but in this one you managed more by accident than design to capture the pure innocent joy of a child seeing, smelling and hearing a Steam Train! Video timeline 07:53 to 08:11. And to quote the child I think that is "Incredible" 👌👍

What can I say that has not already been said, a great video of the comings and goings of everyday life in a heritage railway. You manage to catch all the atmosphere and the enjoyment of this lovely railway. In my opinion this is the best coverage of all the heritage railways I follow on You Tube. Thank you, a great way to spend 24.22 minutes, look forward to more👍.

W3112 shows all the usual Mark One maladies, but I am sure they'll make it good, but what about those Palvans? They've certainly seen better days. A lot of work needed to make them worthy of being on display. But once they've been sorted out, they'll be useful for storage as well as being interesting examples of short wheelbase BR rolling stock. Thanks for the interesting video.
