The shoes you speak of that broke or wore out, I would like to know how many races, practices and riding sessions you've acquired on them before they broke. I've been running the same clipless shoes for over three seasons. I just now bought some new ones. I only replace them because I thought I should before they break being over 3 years old. Also you race 12 months out of the year Us Michigan guys are lucky to get six months. 😅 Great video and very informative.

My sidis consistently last around a year to a year and a half. The rest lasted less than 8 months. I ride a lot and am very hard on my shoes so I go through them quickly.
can u put clip shoes on any clips? looking for advice before buying my first pair
Find a good shoe glue/ epoxy shed rebuild them. If that's the only downside, i would save $. They look decent for cheap shoes

I started with shimano xc300's. They were pretty cheap but the quality was pretty high
