Was it actually big. Because dimensionally it’s far smaller than a half ton pick-up truck. Which lots of people buy as a person vehicle

I saw one on The M62 heading into Huddersfield last night and it's massive occupying a lane

this is such a amazing car I can`t believe it`s cheaper than the Mercedes GLS and better 😁

I bought a 2000 V70 Classic (V70 I / 2.4 140 HP, manual, 160 000 miles / 257 000 kilometres), bought it two months ago, have already done 2000 miles / 3200 kilometres in it, I'm the second owner. It has full leather seats, heated seats front and back, trip computer, dual zone climate control, remote alarm, 4 x electric windows, electric mirrors, remote central locking, cruise control, fully stamped service book, last serviced in January 2019 with new timing belt, oil and filter, new clutch, new windscreen (UV protected), refurbished AC pump, new battery, built in childseat in the middle (armrest), tinted windows, integrated cargo net (x 2) for when the rear seats are up or down, XC70 roof rails, 8 x alloy wheels summer / winter, 2 x Hella Rallye 3003 (new) auxiliary lamps (high beams), lots and lots of new parts, all this and much more for £700. Would probably buy me one rim for the X7.

The funny part is, that this is BMWs' first attempt in this segment(7 seater luxury car) and this car really is the best in it's class. I would compare it to the Q7, because both are 7 seaters and both cost the same with more options on the Q7 and GLS is also a great competitor. To be honest, I think this is the best car in it's segment!!!

These headlights sure look amazing especially the blue touch nice feature indeed .. Nice review James

With all 7 seats up the LR Discovery is smaller. I should know, because I'm trading my Disco in for the X7. Besides, the only thing these 2 may have in common are the 7 seats. There is so much tech and quality in craftsmanship, no LR can even comes close when you take that into consideration.

Well this one looks really good, I saw one white in m sport trim its good looking even with that big grill, Im starting to like this car

Regarding the interior looking like the 3-series's, that's case with most brands. For example, the interior of the top of the line Range Rover looks exactly like the new RR Evoque's.

I think we'll all get used to the massive grill in time. The only thing I don't like is the auto handbrake we've had an X1 and X5 roll down a hill recently when it was engaged, even scarier with a 2.4 tonne car

Complain about the bigger grills? Its damn nice when you look in person....just imagine if they small a little for the grill ....its feels even ugly bro....GO TO THE SHOWROOM PLS

Great review. Looks like a superb car. I know the looks are not to everyone’s taste, but when you are driving it, you aren’t looking at it! I think I’d buy one in preference to a RR. A lot cheaper and with the 7 seats.

Covert Person tell me about it. I have an out of warranty BMW that’s been in the dealership for over 2 weeks now whilst they repair it.

Length expressed in inches and width expressed in millimeters

The most German part about this car is that at launch it was only available in 5 colours, all being shades of grey. Now it's 6 shades of grey, a blue and two browns.

The X7 literlly looks like the X5 model but bigger!

Great review James BUT BAD camera work it's bad guys...you talking about the dashboard yet your camera guy is standing outside and we can't see the dashboard clearly, come on man..most carbuyer reviews are like that...which is bad camera work... I like the grill because it compliments the lights and design.

This car wasn't made with the UK in mind so quit trying to compare it to the Land Rover Discovery. The X7 is for the US and Chinese markets and competes with the Escalade, Navigator, GLS, etc.

Max Troy If they are selling it in the UK market it can be compared to anything else here of a similar type/price. Theses videos are to help make purchase decisions not hypothesise what someone in China might want.

Looks good but will like to see the gls 2020 rival with this I’m looking to buy either one and called Mercedes to see when it’s coming out and they told me early September so will be a while but both are beautiful cars

The largest grill they ever made.

Big SUVs are no fit for tiny EU roads. North wales or Amsterdam etc. Lol

At this price point and presence it lacks sense of occasion you would expect , sorry BMW your design team is stuck in their current design language for longer than expected and accepted.

The X7 is beautiful...

And I remember Euro auto fans laughing at the likes of Escalade because of it size. Oh well.

To be fair the Escalade is so big and heavy that it counts as a light truck and can't be driven with a car license in a lot of European countries still. But this is ridiculous regardless.

Very nice review and nice SUV, except for the interior.

Lovely car, Quite unique and very luxurious looking. However give me a Range Rover any day of the week.

by the amount of income I have compared to the prices of these, I will wait for the latest review on the Bikebuyer Channel
