Neither, id have Audi q8. If it’s just between x5/x6, I’ll take x5.

X5 is a family car and an X6 is a sporty badass car.

Not bmw the German mind is cool but complicated and over engineered where it doesn't need to be makes the cars big fat and heavy we need to make the cars lighter put less technology in on the cars will last longer I'm modern engine it seems to be worn out after 60 or 70000 miles of being driven hard where is he 46 would last five or six times that + more

There is no difference between an m50i and 50i x5 at least for the European spec BMW models. Is there any with the US spec ones?

The newer M50i makes significantly more power. We cover the specifics in the video

In all likelihood people purchase the X6 because its the car they want (hence the styling) versus those who purchase the X5 because they need it (hence the extra cargo room). At 6'2" I do not find any headspace problem sitting in the rear. Their is still plenty of cargo space in the X6, that makes worth having the better styling. Where was the cargo cover for the X5?

psssh, like ima buy a luxurious SUV to haul stuff... and if my kids head starts touching the roof, lol, he needs his own car ^ ^ X6 all the way!

Regarding the reclining rear seats; You need to have the 7-Seat option on the X5 for them to recline.

I was looking at a 2020 fully spec BMW X5. But for that price tag they don't really hold there value anymore. Just look at there i8 used compared to new. I like the 2017 Audi R8 v10. The price tage is fairly similar. And even though I haven't driven one I'm sure it must be an amazing ride.

Extremely beautiful cars guys, I hope you both enjoy your Ultimate driving machines. M50 i - doesn't have the S63 engine, it has the N63 motor. Of course the S is the M series motor. I wouldn't buy any BMW without the Sports Package. It has the nicer seats, the suspension is M series and a few other things. I would buy either one of these models, they fit my mojo. The ZF transmission is extremely good and found in BMWs. it has life time transmission oil. Why don't they have dipsticks? because German engineering is smart. When ever you take a dip stick out of other cars, you risk dirt entering places it shouldn't be. Air filter - never take your air filter out unless you plan to change it. Never use air to clean your air filter you will damage it. Dust around the air filter when removing it can fall into the area dirt doesn't belong so make sure you clean the area after you remove to replace your air filter.

I understand the x6.. if you want an SUV get the x5 with more cargo space. If you want something sporty just get a regular car/coupe!

But people like me want a big car so I chose x6. Regular coupes are boring but an SUV coupe has such a presence because it’s so large and badass. It also has good off-road performance compared to a regular coupe so... also a regular SUV is also boring and looks plain and ugly like a stupid family car lol

Both vehicles could use a wide body kit.

The M badge is acceptable because it has the factory M package. I have it on my 22 X6 but on the fender vents similar to the M version. That's also how the European models are delivered. What I think is cheesey is when folks have a base model and stick an M badge on it. That's just fakers tryn'a be players!

Paul M yeah I was not too happy about that. Being a 22” wheel that is 315 width, they get pretty pricey 😢

I Think that Bmw x5 is a family car, like it is bigger compared to bmw x6, also its sits are more comfortable and are made for long roads. Bmw x6 is a sport jeep, for young people, who like to Drive fast and Show up.

No matter how hard I try.. X6 looks don’t work for me.

X6 looks like an overweight sports car while the X5 is it's own thing.

I am so shallow that the layout BMW have adopted with reverse tachometer, is a instant no buy. Loved the wheel and binnacle layout in the f30, but these newer beemers, no thank you. Audi and Benz do it right. With my experiance with germans, a Lexus would be my choice right now. The quality of zhe germans have been abmysmal of late imo... Edit: The crystal you could have had in a freaking Volvo 6 years ago, and Volvo do interiors right, why can't BMW get as good as a company less than 1/10th of its size?

I feel like Bimmer’s aren’t about the electronics and whatnot but rather about the drive. Granted, you should expect good quality (and you do get it) but what you truly expect from a Bimmer is a fantastic driving vehicle, one could say, it’s the ultimate driving machine (I’ll let myself out)

@@G87 I get why you feel this way. There are other brands that do the driving bits, close as not an issue, just as well. Have you checked out the newer benzes? They are close to were beemer was a decade ago. Now they are so close to a freaking Infinity it is not worth the dough...

rekleif personally, i feel like Mercs are primarily for comfort, when I think Merc I think of an S class, of course there is the C class and E class (and now the A class) all with their AMG models, but I’m a BMW fanboy at heart, and will always prefer my Bimmers to a Merc

Before I bought my M5 comp, I test drove basically everything similar to it and beyond, RS7, S4, S5, RS6, C63(s), E63s (and the wagon variants), C43 (and then of course, other brands, but that’s just the Audi’s and Mercs I drove). From my personal preference, they are all great cars, the updated Audi’s and Mercs have a great amount of tech, but there’s just something about Bimmer’s driving that brings me back every single time. I had the same debacle when buying my M2, they are just such fun cars imo (nothing against Audi or Merc, just my preference)

the x6 is a very controversial car.

If you ever feel like you need an X6, get a coupe sedan. X5 makes more sense all around. The grills aren’t as ugly on the SUVs as they are on the sedan, but they’re still not pretty. Great video as always Eddie.

X6 are good with off-road and some people like big cars because they’re much more badass.

I’ve never really been a huge fan of the aesthetics of an suv but I have a really special place of hatred for a crossover suv. This is because it says to me the owner has spent more money on the less practical vehicle which is not really sporty or practical just sort of half and half, screams “I have way to much money to know what to do with”. So I would go x5 (but really would buy and m5/5series or the touring)

Take the M badge off bruh. Not a good look.
