Still in love with this design

My wife traded her X3 for an X4 and she is loving it! One of those cars that we would have passed until my wife got to drive one as a loaner and then was it! The X4 drives great and much sportier than an X3. Drive one before judging it. That's my advice. I, for one, was not convinced before having it for few days, but now, I love it!

Watch the new BMW X4 review. What do you think of it?

The x6 sold so well even though it had a very high price tag, this car being much cheaper is going to fly off the shelves like the first two years of the x6. Who cares what 2 car fanatics who's auto knowledge is stuck in 1980s thinks. Cars like The i8 and progressive designs like this is what keep Bmw on the lead.

+Arven Tahtyan the critisism comes from people thinking about the car's purpose. the x6 and x4 and the x2 have no purpose in the car market. they are bad cars and they cannabilize the sales. the 4 series ie the old 3 series coupe. but now there is a 4 series 4 door. It is just confusing. It increases costs for bmw and for what; just to compete with merc. audi does the same but at least with the VW group's platform sharing there is little R&D department

I personally love it and would accept the less space and less visibility, there's the x3 for that but im in love with the coupe looks of the x4 and hearing that it's an amazing car all around makes me happy

Guy de Maupassant was famous for hating the Eiffel Tower so much he ate lunch there almost every day because it was the only place in Paris he wouldn't have to look at the Eiffel Tower. I'd buy an X4 and sit in it all the time for exactly the same reason.

sure but I don't see a lot of people visiting his grave, whereas the eiffel tower stands in all its glory. Adapt my friend, its what has to be done to remain commercially successful. So your prehistoric antiques are outdated when it comes to the auto industry. May you have fun driving in your Saab or Pontiac.

What is the point of this car...not for off roading and not a road car look...

The point is that lots of people want to buy it so it's worth making. You disliking it only proves you are out of step with the rest of the world.
