How to upgrade the Angel Eyes on a 2008 BMW X3 E83 with Xenons. There's 1 bulb per side, the existing bulbs were 10W, these Cree LEDs are also 10W. Plug and play with no error codes. LEDs even do a cool fade, I wasn't expecting that.

It was that easy, got the LED E39 on eBay. I removed only the snorcal. They were replaced in 10 min. They just twists off. LED looks great no codes.
Can you tell us the exact bulb? the amazon link is not direct to the bulb you have please

Dimitar Tankov They are definitely better, but not as bright as the LEDs on newer BMWs. I'm glad I upgraded them, and it's easy on this model.

It says it’s only for 2005 to 2007 will it still work for 2008 ?

Exo only the Xenons have angel eyes. The non-xenon use a style without angel eyes completely.

So the halo bulbs are mounted inside the headlight case instead of on top like the E39 5 series?
