So the secret is you have to wait 90 minutes, that's 9 zero .... OK

So you called bmw and they gave you the code,bc mine said its 300.00 dollars to find it in the car.

Varies massively depending on region unfortunately, many in the UK will charge upwards of £50 (about 60 USD). We're able to decode these very same codes for just £4.99 (about $5 USD), and all we require is the serial number from the back. This is the cheapest you'll find these codes for anywhere, but unfortunately our other comment linking to our BMW decoder page was taken down by this channel because they don't seem to be interested in helping car owners, just recommending the more expensive app - maybe they're being paid for it. Either way our BMW service can be found by searching Google for "Rapid Radio Codes BMW".

Does the car need to be on for 90 minutes?

No that won’t help you have to keep power on and the wait time is about an hour after you enter the code

i waited bout 3 hours while it was plugged into power but it still doesnt allow me to put in another code...

I went to the dealership and they couldn't provide me with the code. I found a code in the owners manual, and tried that, but it doesn't cut the radio on. Any suggestions? I have radio serial number, I just need the proper code.

And lo as the sun shone down from high in the year Trump apocalypse plus 20, we were still waiting, but now no one drives cars with combustion engines, ha ha.
