Dude watching you break both beads and just pull the tire off in 3 minutes, new one back on in less than 5 left me speechless. I never thought of using a centerstand to break bead, learn something new every day. Thanks

Thanks for posting this! I asked my BMW shop how to do this and they wouldn't even entertain the idea of me trying this myself. I'm looking for your other video of how to change the front tire now. Looks like that silicone really helps you to break the bead if you put it on when you install a new tire.

Great job explaining the process man, being a tire tech and having to fight tires even with a machine, makes this process a hole lot easier on trail..it's a good process not just for enduro but for offload bikes too. Loved your bead breaker btw...lol

Great video and thanks for that great tip to break the bead. Can't wait to have a go. Read and enjoyed ARM for the first time recently. It was bought for me by a pal whilst recovering from a broken leg loosing grip riding my GS through a ford!!!! Great idea, could'a been good fun but ended up in an ambulance then Macclesfield Hospital UK. Great treatment and thanks to the staff there I'm almost ready to ride again.

The softer the surface you're riding on, the softer the tire you want. Sand is very soft, so a lower pressure is called for. I just avoid riding in sand with my bike when I can. Good video, you made that look easy.

Excellent vid, thank you! Your comment about the use of lube is REALLY important. I find that some sort of lube makes all the difference between easy and "gee am I going to get hurt doing this." Your suggestion for the silicone lube is quite good since it doesn't dry out like soapy type products, and that matters right from the very first time you install a new tire as it tends to keep that bead slippery for a long, long time. The zip tie trick really helps if the bead won't pop in.

All done: all tips are really appreciated. My bead didn't pop as easily as yours (or maybe I didn't dare put enough uhhhhmmmpfff into it at the beginning: a little soapy water around the rim seemed to help. Same for putting on the new tire: slipped on like Snow White's Alpinestars with soapy lube. Cheers!
