Thanks for the comments guys , I jumped straight on wiki and checked it out . I vaguely remember the koenigsegg Granada . I'll have to check it out , it was a turbo charged 5.4 v8 wasn't it . It's interesting Ford and Holden in Aus took European models and made them bigger , Holden with the Opel . I've got an 84 Holden Commodore with an rb25 in it that's a bit of fun

Hats off to this man, looks stunning and got the reliability, grunt of the beemer in a old school Granny shell.. Love it.

My dad had 2.3 litre v6 one when I was a nipper , they were nothing special back then but amazing to see them on road now 👍

Nah... they were always cool. My dad had company car grannies from 1979 to 1989. Started with the 2.3L then ended with 2.9i Ghia x. Loved them all. I'd love a 2.8injection. They were super cool. Cooler than than the 2.8 injection ghia x pack.

Brilliant car! Love the Granada sticker in the rear window and those rear speakers! It just needs the cassette holder in the centre lower dash.

Great build though I see he's opted for the optional driver side seat belt delete option - very expensive!!!!

My dad always had Granada's and was in the second hand car game for 40 years and this car gives me serious nostalgia and I think they are a brilliant platform to build on ,,solid as a rock a massive engine bay and the space inside probably competes with some of the latest big cars on the market right now ., my dad used to drive us to Switzerland every year in his white 2.3 litre lx so yeah for me it's the best car on KZread,,tons more character than some stupid car with massive BHP and the typical sheep follow my leader cars on hear ,,I love people who do something different and this granny is exactly that 👍

That’s a very neat job he’s done there getting a beemer engine into a Granada. Can’t believe those gun cartridges for wheel bolts, hope they’re not still live.😟 The air suspension is virtually on the tarmac when fully lowered.

I went to Ben’s house last week and saw the Granada parked around the corner at his Grandads house! I bought an old exhaust off him! Stunning looking car! He’s got a couple of old Transits on his back garden as projects! Wonder what they will end up like!!

Super charge it. It looks clean asf already and sounds beautiful. I saw fords all sorts mostly as a kid and noticed then then small fords have 4 stud wheels and the big fords had 5. Elementary lol. I meant to add to me last comment, but me phone ran out of charge, the granny had way more spec than the entry level jag 4.2, and wàs more medestly price than the 3.4 entry level jag. In 1982 Me dad and his mate took one down to cornwall, the car was at its happiest at about 110. You never see one in bad condition, they've always looked , well presented, as though they've just come from a show room. Luvly pieces of equipment🙂

In Australia they badge as the ford falcon bigger 6 cylinder engines over 3.0 litres and well known in v8 option. This is probably the most mint one I have seen from around the world.

How to enjoy an affordable old Ford now, build your own! Great job.

Its in great condition, very rare these used to rust like hell, worked in a garage in the 80s scrapped a lot of these and cortinas, capri and escorts, most ended up in banger racing, didnt last long in that either.

Mad car, I used to have a Granada 2.8 Ghia X back in the day all blacked out, its nice to see the old fords done up right like this, Just wish we could have seen him floor it proper and show us what that BMW power plant can do top end.
