I own a cls63, the trick is to leave it in s+ and just downshift to the gear needed for the roll. It will auto shift.

Ok so Im thinking of getting an cls63 amg soon, and can you give me any advice on how to make the exhaust crackle ? For example you give it some gas and the exhaust makes papapapapa...my neighbor has one and his one crackles a lot. But there is only 1 cls63 amg in youtube that does these pops.

CLS63 is a faster car from the dig and the roll. V8twinturbo power.

Even from a roll the cls63 is faster as long as it’s shifting in automatic mode. I don’t understand why it’s “hard to tell which one is faster from a roll” lol just don’t use manual mode in cls and it will win every time

Driver mod needed in M6

M6 will always be the best looking cars against all Mercedes cars, and likely most cars in the world! Best looking bmw

I have an F13 M6. You can hear he was driving it with DSC on or in MDM - M cars are not the easiest to launch and it takes skill to control the lack of traction. Given equal driver skill I think you'd be surprised. Those M6s make around 400kW at the wheels, even in South Africa with our poor fuel. In your first rolling run the M6 is short-shifting in the lower gears - you can hear it isn't revving out to 7k RPM.. I don't think the M6 was being driven to its potential.. and again, that M is a handful, so that's understandable.

Wow here in jozi! I'm amazed at the m6 but still wonder why they won't use a v10 anymore in these newer models. These cars are freaking awesome! I hope to own one very soon

I believe these two cars are amazing and have their strong points, I think the AMG did it. The M6 is not far behind, like someone said...driivers make the difference.

2018 m6 f13 comp makes 600hp & 700nm instead so would do a bit better as well(DCT is very aggressive in the highest setting "you feel the kick hard")

It limits the revs because it’s in park, switch to neutral next time

The AMG should be faster as it's got more torque as is lighter. This wasn't a great video and taught us nothing....

M6 driver cannot drive, does not know how to start in a certain gear in order to get the most optimal torque and power in the rev band, he probably has it in comfort mode lol but that cls63 is a animal.

You can’t give him the jump and call It even. Smh

The Power in the Benz is immense but the BMW gearbox substitutes for the lack of power compared to the Benz. I call it a TIE.

I’m love both cars but the Benz won hands down. What are y’all watching? From a roll, from a dig without question. When you have to give someone jump to get a good race.... To make things interesting. You can argue modes or driver I’m cool with that. But for whatever reason the bmw lost!!!

Prime Time Exclusive the only time m6 was faster was from a roll when the cls was in manual mode, but it’s obvious as long as the Benz is shifting in automatic, it’s faster by a lot from a roll and a dig. I don’t know why he’s all confused in this video

It doesn't sound like there was any launch control used by either of you from stop, I think that would have given the M6 a better chance given its gearbox on that race.... I'm an M6 V10 owner and a huge fan myself but the fact is the Merc has more power and less weight here, hence it's the winner... Was the M6 driver using manual or auto on these races because this was not confirmed, that also has an impact on the race as well like you said on your side

You make a good Point sir. But we have tried off camera with Launch control and the M6 struggles even more with traction and gets left even further, hence we decided traction full on with both cars would give them the most equal chance.
