@@iitzsylix4628 yeah it’s a solid all rounder. Very good if you want decent performance and something that won’t be really expensive to run. It’s has a 2.0l 4cyl engine so will be economical and not break your wallet if something goes wrong. My advice though (if you’re willing to spend a bit more) would be to get a 330i. It’s still a 4cyl but has the B48 engine which is an amazing engine, and comes in the facelift models.

@@bmf5420 a tesla plaid towing an m5 would still beat the m5 to 152mph plaid doesn't just beat the m5 it leaves it standing to imagine a track with a log straight at the start how far would the plaid be in front and it comes out of corners much faster

I disagree. If Chris and Rory did something else together to the tune of Chris Harris on Cars and Auto Trader, it'd be a cut above. But TG is a fixed format being presented by 1 motoring journalists and 2 people trying their best to be funny but fall short on the more soulful side of motoring. It's ok and some of the segments are great, but nothing to write home about.

I also loved the slow-mo toward the end at around 11:30 where the car was banking left and you could see the water being drawn up through the tyre treads and dispersed. This kind of detail used to be an exclusive Topgear domain, but Autotraders production team are now it's equal

The Green Hell time was with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres, While the AMG GT63 S had the superior Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s. For comparison the current BMW M4 RWD on Cup 2s...was only ONE SECOND slower. AMG GT63. It also had a modified chassis and an additional aero-package installed which then became an optional extra. Also long tracks test the driver more than the car. On medium/short tracks with the SAME driver..M5CS thwarted the GT63s Based on this conclusion, and the fact that we know on a small track, Cup 2s are 2 seconds quicker than PS4s which are about 2 seconds quicker than any Pirelli Corsa tyre....it's safe to say that BMW M5CS could have killed any saloon on the Nurburgring

In the bends it wouldn’t get away from a Golf R though, and in a straight line an EV would toast it unless over a long distance. It’s the usability that makes it so special, the best all rounder

I'm pretty sure that the lap time recorded on the nurburgring is the longer version of the track whereas the AMG GT 63s and Project 8 was on the shorter version so actually the M5 CS would have been quickest 4 door

I'm a merc guy but that M5 CS is something else..it's seductively naughty in a good way👍.

The camerawork and editing is as good as the car if not more! And Rory as always.. what can I say?

Now this would be a fun daily driver. Of course I would probably just get in trouble and only get 4 MPG at best. I would pass everything except gas stations. BMW should design a Plug-in Hybrid M5 with a 200hp electric boost motor and a V6 making 400hp. You would greatly improve the 0-60 time, overall performance, and the MPG.

This car has technology you will be able to get around 20mpg on the other hand dodge demons with 900hp factory get around 4mpg. Also a v6 and a hybrid m5 is the stupidest thing ever don’t ever say that again about an m5. M5 should always be a v8.

@@fraserm5339 LOL - I agree. I said that because I have a performance Hybrid and I absolutely Love the 0 to 60 acceleration, and the 30 to 80 acceleration is equally excellent. I did a test drive in a Tesla Model S Dual Motor P90 with Ludacris mode. I didn't know what acceleration was until I drove that car.
