Here I replace both inner and outer tie rod on my BMW I3 at just over 90K miles.
The part numbers listed below are for my MY2016 as of late 2022. As time marches on BMW may update these part numbers with newer revisions. Also note that my I3 is not a “S” model. “S” model may have different part numbers.
Tie rod kit (has both inner and outer) part number is -
Left is 32216851409
Right is 32-21-6-851-410
Left outer Tie rod only- 32-10-6-851-411
Right outer Tie rod only -32-10-6-851-412
Outer Tie Rod Nut -33-30-6-787-062
The boot kit is 32106893700. This has a new boot and both clamps.
Clamp only- 32-10-6-855-446
Torque specs.
Outer Tie rod nut to “swivel bearing” aka the hub is 175 Nm. BMW says to replace that nut.
Inner Tie rod to rack is 71 Nm.
The Tie rod set screw is 32 Nm.
