WOW, I cannot tell you how much this guy just saved me on my bill, I had a transmission problem, because I am younger and drive faster, the previous owner was an older woman and drove slow, and when I did the reset of the transmission it fixed itself. I need to meet this person in real life and hug him. If this guy who is in the video right now is reading this, I am so grateful for you. Thank you so much, you probably saved me around $2,310.

Same situation happened to me. I bought it from a one owner old lady and it was super jerky until I reset it and now it’s working smoothly 🙌🏻

MINDING ME - you have to go to the key settings and configure it to unlock all doors

Nour is doing a great job and I thank him for his time in making these videos. The dealer will never take the time to explain all of the features. Great video! Owned a E92 for 3 years and I didn’t know about the waterpump feature! In the step of resetting the trans it should also reset the injection to standard values btw.

Very good video!! I have a problem with 1 2 3 buttons on the rear view mirror. I can't seem to sync it with my garage door opener! I have spent hours clearing the code and syncing. First thing I did when I bought my 330 was so the transmission reset and it was phenomenal the difference it made! Also are the radiator fans prone to failing? Mine doesn't turn on at all and I'm signing to diagnose it

Hmm. I'm having the same exact issue. When I'm in DS or D manual car shifts perfect. However in D it will have a jerky downshift into first gear. I will try the reset on the trans. I look forward to the video on replacing the transmission pan and the fluids. I just hit 100k so it's due to be changed. Thanks for the information on how to reset the trans. Greatly appreciated.

What do all the buttons on the control panel do? Have a few I have no idea what they are for. One looks like far going down hill one is he car and a light ones on near the front after one push and then one light comes on after second push but no clue what it is for.

Still want to hear about the secret menu to unlock the mirrors folding vs using the carly app etc. any help??? Haven't seen this anywhere else. I've seen some secret menu stuff, but nothing with folding mirrors etc.

Can i reset the transmission the same way on my 528i 2009. I just bought it and took it for a long drive. When getting on to the freeway, i hit the gas hard then immediately let go of pedal cause i thought a car was coming and then hit it again and it jammed and said Transmission Malfunction. I pulled over, turned car off then restarted it and cleared the screen. And all was good again. So i wanna reset it, if its an adaptive transmission maybe it wasnt ready for that move i accidently did.

I might have to try that transmission trick

Just a quick side note... On the manual trunk release mechanism... This is only on e90 models from 2006 - 08... All lci models have had this function removed. So if you are planning on changing up to an lci trunklid and lights you will lose this feature. Excellent video as always 😀

My 2005 525i has an issue no one can figure out. When I drive the RPM's go up and down. It feels like a bad fuel injector but that it not the problem. It is really bad when I slow down and have to speed back up on a hill. Feels like bubbles in the gas! Do you think the transmission reset would help? My car doesn't show a code or anything. Ugh. I have owned the car 3 years after I bought it used so I am not sure if that will even help... Thank you!!

Has to be "coded" in If in usa. But coded basically means unlocked.

Great video and I love your videos as well. I just got a 2007 335i and I LOVE IT more than any car I have ever had, and Ive had about 15 or life 17 different ones in my life as Im 48 Now......I wish I would have gotten a BMW earlier in my life I just paid $4,000 and its almost perfect condition in every way, a great excuse to own a Twin Turbo LOL Imagine having $6,000 to spend on mods? That's what I allocated to custom this build with and see what kind of car I could have for $10,000 solid. Im a mechanic and a body and paint pro, but Id rather just pay my buddy for mechanical work as I like to concentrate on the paint and other parts of the build. Keep making your great vids! PS: How in the would do you find this stuff out? Crazy!

If you reset your brake miliage it may kick your brake light on the dash, it did mine. I had to have the mechanic plug some wear values into the computer because i essentially told the car it had new brakes but the wear sensors were in conflict with that. He reset mine for free. The dealer said i had to have a brake job, that was 3 years ago.

Nour Hummadi you can paint it. That's what I did. Cheaper and looks as good if you take your time. There's a couple walkthroughs online but none for e90s

Anyone have a issues with trying to reset the das because once I put key on and start car without foot on the break it shows a big exclamation mark in yellow in the icons

The LCI does not have a key hole on the trunk lid so when the battery is out there is no way of getting it open
