You need to replace the tailgate gas struts. It cost me £30 on my 635 and transformed the cosmetic feel. Lifts the boot from your key and cockpit fully. It only took me 20 minutes to do.

Find a e92 instead, it aged so much better than this. This used to be my favorite car and now I throw up in my mouth when I see an M6, let alone a non M SOFT TOP.
