    Superstar! Really like your relaxed and honest style. What a great video, very informative and enjoyable to watch. Bought a 750GS a couple of weeks ago, after 4 years off the road. Had a lot of bikes over the last 40 years of riding (on and off) and the GS is probably the best of all of them, fantastic machine in every department. Thanks again for a great watch, I’ve duly subscribed and will take a look at your other videos. Looking forward to it. 👍🏼😀

    Hey, great review and I agree on many points. I have the low seat and it's comfortable for me at 58kg..... just came back from 4400 km tour to Northern BC. My bike has been completely reliable (at 10,000 km after 11 months). Also have Rok Shox riser, the Hepco and Becker bags, brake pedal expander etc. A wonderful bike! (PS- I wrecked my Iphone on the trip because I did not have the quadlock vibration dampener 😩)

    Good review, I agree with you in most parts. We don’t have quick shifters, cornering ABS or the “pro modes” on our bikes so I can not say anything about those options. The cruise control is lovely to have, I have never needed more power. I have thought of getting the side stand extender. The bikes is heavy but I find them a maybe little easier to move around than my other bikes. The Yamaha Bolt that we have is I think a little heavier but also lower and that makes them a little harder to move around. I have more strength and better control in the position I have when moving the 750s. But they are a little top heavy. I haven’t tested so many different bikes so I can not say if they are more top heavy than other bike of the same type. All the best Jonas

    i like the way you describe the bike. i am seriously consider this 750gs to be my 3rd and last bike. i am 1.70 cm so i can deal with the low suspension but confort seat, which would do 79mm. i will pay all the extra conforts and electronics that bmw can give since will be my forever bike. in my country brand new from factory with all the extras i previously told you would cost me 12.000euros. i think is the best value for one of the best motorcycles in the world. it can be fast, adventure, reliable, comfortable for 2 persons! which in my case is very important, and has enough power to have fun and be faster than most cars. amazing bike .have a nice day!

  • @motorbikedude

    Hi thanks for comments. The main reason of doing the videos is really to do an honest review, and to do that in my opinion you have to own the bike or paid for the products you you are reviewing, have them for long enough time that you can really do a review !! And believe me if I am not happy with the bike or product that I have bought It will be on the videos . I don’t have the worry of upsetting manufacturers because my livelihood is not dependent on them or this you tube channel. Regarding the screen ,it’s a puig screen I did make a video about it .I found it very good as it is adjustable one so you can “play”with the height to suit as it changes from riding in country lanes or motorways, and of course the height of the rider. The last 1000 miles I have decided to try it without the adjustable section. Basically I am trying to find the best position of the screen that will be good at any speed town, country or motorways. Hope that helps Ride safe stay safe D

    Yes you are right, most of the "reviews" are commercials by KZreadrs and sponsored by Motorcycle companies. If a KZreadr bash or gives a true honest review about motorcycle or ANYTHING a motorcycle company will not invite the KZreadr again. And to be frank, KZreadrs enjoy the free stuff they get from these events.

    Hello, I've seen some of your interesting videos. I am looking into a new motorcycle, my current one (BMW R1200RT LC) is a very nice bike, but it is a bit heavy in terms of weight. Given the great windshield on this bike I was very interested in your video about the Puig windshield in combination with the F750gs. In this video I see that you took the top of the screen off. Is there a special reason or is this just for maintenance?

  • @motorbikedude

    @motorbikedude

    Жыл бұрын

    Yes the reason is that for me it is the best without the top part as I find it perfect on country lanes motorways or slow roads where before I had to adjust the height of the screen for a different speed traveling . So without the top part the screen is perfect at any speed. Ride safe D

    Appreciate this thourough review! If I may ask, how's the reliability two years later on? I'm still debating if I should go for this bike (rented it for two weeks and loved it!) or go for a cheaper option like the Kawi Versys 650 or V-strom. Planning to buy new and I'm just a bit hesitated about the reliability compared to the Japanese brands.

    @@motorbikedude Thank you for the prompt reply. I have ridden mainly large Harley's for 30 years and wanted a change and to do some off road riding. Nothing too crazy but just the forestry roads which are dirt or single track. Depending on who you talk to (if they have a commission to make) they always try and steer you towards something larger and more expensive. I sat on a lowered 850 with a low seat which was a good fit but you lose the adjustable suspension by doing that. All my previous bikes were low riders and cruisers so going to an adventure bike is a huge shift in my comfort of having both feet firmly on the ground.

  • @motorbikedude

    @motorbikedude

    @@H0w1tz3r666 I know exactly what you mean.Yes if you opt to the lower version you lose the adjustable suspension and the centre stand.You will need to try the normal one with the lower seat and try the different riding modes as the one with the pillion increase the hight of the bike. Thats what i did. Also I do use Height increase insole in my boots (Amazon) ,and also have the Daytona M Star Boots that gives you 2.5 cm raised inner sole which I will highly recommend!! They are pricy but they should last you years.one thing to bare in mind, going off road with the 850 or the 750 Is the weight !They are heavy Bikes! I couldn't justify paying extra for the 850 after trying them Both. If I were you I would try as many bike as you can and the one that you thinking to buy take it for at least half a day or full day on a test ride. D

    My 750 GS is absolutely reliable after 3400 Kilometers. But you should only judge the reliability of a bike after about 20,000 kilometers. Then it starts to get interesting. :) I find the quickshifter less good now. If you ever drove the quickshifter in the Duke 790 you know what a quickshifter should do. The BMW Quickshifter simply needs high revs and still has rough shifting. What I like is: You never have the feeling to have too little power with this engine. There was the fear that the China engine was not so good. On the contrary the engine is absolutely sovereign in every situation. Also the cornering behavior gives a lot of confidence and the bike rides like on rails, typical for BMW GS. A very important point for me is: you get the equipment of the top class also in this middle class - if you want it. You won't find that from any other manufacturer. What I do not like so much is the sound. It sounds - compared to the 1250 GS - like a bag of screws. But there are accessories for that as well. Thanks for your review.

    Hi Krusir I totally agree regarding reliability as the mileage go up .i will do another review end of next season and after that .I am not sure about reaching 20000 miles as I will probably change it as it approaches 3years old as I do with cars once the warranty runs out . Regarding engine noise I think it’s down to personal choice ,as I didn’t like the noise of the 1250 for me it was too noisy and much more vibration. Stay safe ride safe D

    regarding quickshifter, I agree with you, it took me a long time to learn to change gears smoothly, but the biggest positive change I noticed was when I asked the dealer to update the software of the bike. They said that they'd not only upgraded the software of the tft display (which sometimes lost connection with my iphone) but also re-programmed the quickshifter and now it works much, much better.

    Maybe I missed the consumption mentioned. My Honda CB500X is 3.2 liter/100km. I am thinking about to change to the 750 GS once, but I saw another test where 6.5 l/100 km has been showed on the display - which is over than the limit what I can accept from a motorbike. What is your real experience please? Thank you in advance from Hungary.

    The info I got from my bike is average of 63.7 miles per gallon which is 4.5 litre /101 km . Now compare to your Honda is not bad at all considering the size of engine . Your Honda is I believe 471cc the Bmw F750 is 853cc . Stay safe D

    @@motorbikedude Thank you very much! Based on my calculations 63.7 mpg = 3.69 L/100km which result is more than great. For me it will be ok then sure. Which is a plus point for me in my choice, is the option of the low seat and low suspension, although the EISA cannot be paired with the low suspension together. The CB500X seat height is a bit high (830 mm), and as the bike is a bit top-heavy, it is not the best for me (I am 174 cm). Last time I tried the 750 GS with low suspension (only in the saloon), and it was the first bike in my life which totally matched to me. My fate has been set. Take care!

    @@motorbikedude I confirm, my bike 750gs (15 000 km on it) also shows 4.5-4.6 l/100km. I mostly ride Dynamic mode. My record was as they say in the book 4.2l but it was a really slow boring ride in the city.
